for the sake of discussion let's suppose that someone has the equipment and has perfected an extraction method that produces clean pure nicotine.

that person now can produce hi quality flavorless E liquid.

The big question is how to market it with out breaking the law ?
the fda requires that first animal testing be done then lab testing on humans for years b4 being approved for sale with the blessing of the fda.

no mention of human internal use, perhaps suggestion to use it as a mild organic pesticide ? Or no mention of any use at all. simply a listing of ingredients ?

I would think that the liquid would also have to sold on it's own website away from any mention of any other products that might suggest a use of the liquid as well.

couldn't you essentially do a pure extraction from a snus packet and be safer?

The LD50 level of nicotine is 40-60mg for humans.. the snus packets weigh .23g (230mg). I've read that about 3% of it's weight is due to nicotine.. which is 6.9mg, well below the LD50 and well below what most of us are using at the moment in our PV's..

Theoretically, 3 packets would be 20.7mg juice, right?

I'm not a chemist.. just did some quick research.. so don't try this.. but it'd be interesting to hear from someone who knows more about this subject.

I tried a Snus extraction by soaking 6 Camel Snus in 10ml VG for 7 days, shaking mix daily. I then squeezed out the packets and strained the mix through a coffee filter. My thick tobacco solution has good tobacco taste, but I have not been able to detect any nicotine when vaped. There might be SOME...but it is very minute. I use this as tobacco flavoring and add other flavors to it for vaping.
