A No-Leak Alternative to Ego-C Type B Tanks with the Same Benefits?

Greetings fellow vapers,

I'm a very heavy smoker (think 3 packs Camels a day) who decided to try out e-cigs. Like most of you, I started with the simple ones (Titans in my case), which I hated because they were too dry, and then moved to an Eco-C Twist, which has done the trick for the past week as I have drastically cut down my analogue smoking (only three to four cigs a day!). I've decided to push through and even ordered a Provari. Now, since I'm a new member and I can't post in another thread, I thought I may ask here for some advice.

I loved the tight draw and taste of the Ego-C Type B tanks, but besides needing constant refills, the deal breaker for me was the fact that they constantly leaked no matter what I did (silicone caps, new atomizers etc).

I then tried the Kanger T3 and Mini Vivi Nova tanks. The good thing with these tanks is that they are relatively large (around 2.5ml), easy to fill and most importantly, don't leak. The problem is, however, and this is obviously a personal preference, neither the T3 nor the Nova taste good to me, they're dry and I hate the airy draw on both – the Kanger T3 even more so, despite changing wicks etc. Moreover, they don’t produce near as much smoke as the Ego Type-B tanks with the same juices.

What I would like to ask is if there's a device I can use on top of the Ego-C and later on, the Provari as well, that has the same taste and tight air draw of the Ego-C Type B tank, but with a larger capacity, no leakage problems, and without having to make coils myself (I don't mind buying a ready wick and coil, I just don't want to build anything).

Hi and welcome, Mistsmok3!

Sounds to me like a carto tank might be what you're looking for. Give the 3.5ml SmokTech DCT a try. My personal preference is for single coil cartos but YMMV. If you choose to go with the single coil, I'd recommend the 2.0 ohm version on the Twist. I find I have to crank the 3.0 ohm all the way up to 4.8V on a freshly charged Twist to get a really good vape, and there is a 0.4V drop (approx) over the life of the charge - even though the Twist is regulated.

Hello and thanks for the responses!

I understand that nothing is leak free (as a matter of fact, the T3 just spilled its guts out...), but the Type B tanks are ridiculous - a complete design fail. The other two and especially the T3, feels like I'm sucking through a straw. I'm open to suggestions as I know I will have to try several options before I find the one I like.
