Hola again!
My name's Glory of course im new here. I've read a couple of threads and I've seen some ppl talk about the ones they sell at gas stations and such but they arent sold here like analogs(yes I tend to pick up language and words pretty quickly.)
So I guess ill hv to go thru the net route. I'm just overwhelmed with all the options I've read about. I smoke a pack every 3 days Newport gold since I can't stomach the regular once anymore. Also I would like it to be manual and no fiber since I don't want the tobacco flavor and want to experiment. I think I've covered everything. Any question let me know.. :)

Welcome Glory,
this is definitely the right place to learn and find a better way to stop smoking.... you will stop smoking once you find the flavors of ejuice you like and a setup that works best for you. Its going to take a lil time and patience to familiarize yourself with the diffrent terminology (parts of an ecig and attys) and lingo to get what you need. Reading and youtube will be the best way to advance. Don't give up it will only get better as you go foward. Good luck on you journey.

Thank you!
I saw a commercial with Stephen Dorph about the blu e-cig and I had been thinking about that one but them I found this forum and now I'm not so sure. I want one that will last but not cost me an ARM an a leg..

Welcome to the ECF! This is THE best place to learn about e-cigarettes, with plenty of experienced people to help you along the way. A few questions to help you out initially:

How important is it that your first e-cigarette be the same size as a regular cigarette? The reason I ask as the cig look-alike batteries only last about 3-4 hours between charges, and switching out batteries frequently can quickly become a pain. The larger eGo size batteries (or Smokeless Image Volt X2) will allow you to go 6-13 hours between charges and will also allow you to carry larger juice delivery devices on top of your battery (less time wasted refilling with juice during the day).

Do you want your juice delivery devices (used on top of the battery) to come pre-filled with the flavored nicotine liquid or do you feel you will be able to learn how to fill these devices on your own from bottled liquid (much cheaper and longer lasting)?

A popular vendor here at ECF and the one that I started out vaping with is Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Smokeless Image Electronic Cigarettes - The Future is in your hands. They also have a supplier sub-forum here with demo videos of their equipment and a forum where customers familiar with the Smokeless Image products can help each other. Smokeless Image

Size comparison image of Smokeless Image batteries with a cigarette. The three larger white batteries are the Volt X2 passthrough batteries that are comparable to the intermediate-size eGo batteries. All of Smokeless Image devices are inter-compatible with each other, so chosing between the equipment they sell you are assured that they will all work together.

Willing to help out more if you are interested. :thumb:

Thanx for the help. Well I don't mind it not looking like a normal cig since I'm trying to actually quit those I just don't want them to look like the box looking ones I've seen here.. i think they're called mods? Not sure how they're called. Also I read here that the pre filled ones don't last that much so I guess ill go with the refill kind and since I don't want to have the taste of tobacco anymore but more fruity or peppermint taste since I also read that combination taste good. Also the throath hit has to be decent not to much thought since I don't smoke a pack a day. Though I think the ego isn't to bad looking and the provari is gorgeous but I feel like its to big. Also if I smoke a pack every 3 days how nicotine should I get? I have so many questions that I think ill drive everyone here insane! Lol

I think if your a heavy smoker you will need something better than the lil 250mah batteries with the light in front of it. What got me satisfied when i started was an ego 900mah with a stardust atty. Later on with a lil research I jumped up to bigger and more powerful mods. The lil cig look alike batterys with the light in front and the filler filled cartos didn't work for me, just not enough vapor!..It didn't take me long to figure out that I needed variable voltage for more vapor to fill my lungs...so an ego vv 900mah and a stardust its a nice set up to start with..watch a video on how to fill, clean and vape with a stardust...to puchase go to ecigbestsave, myvaporstore, cloudsofvapor, gotvapes, madvapes, discontvapors and so on.... these are stores located in the US with fast shipping and competitive prices for you vaping needs.... good luck!

Thank you!
What about the ones that come with the cartos. Can those be refilled? Also I only smoke a pack every 3 days so what would be the best for that? Also could I get by with just one battery and 2 cartos? Cause I found one at $19 at smokeless image but I don't know if that would be enough..

I've learned that the vivi nova is about the best/simplest tank system there is
I would suggest a ego twist VV + mini vivi novas or replaceable stardusts
This setup has little difference from APVs like the provari or lavatube or waterer IMO.

yes the vivi nova tank is an awesome atty and its perfect to move up to after cartos, you get the benefit of a tank atty without having to rebiuld the coils unless you want to learn how to. Vapor prodution is great but It takes a lil getting use to within the break in period.
