To everyone who has contributed to this thread on RBA's. I finally took the plunge and started SS mesh moding my RBA's and tanks which included Phoenix's and Vivi tanks. The Vivi tanks were a fail, but I got suckered in. The Phoenix's worked sort of OK, but they burned out worse than regular atty's. With the mesh wick conversion of my Phoenix and my Vapemate. I have discovered vaping heaven. Regular wicks just seem to pick up an aftertaste. I have also been trying the Vulcans with SS and they work great as well. The Eternity (even though it uses a silica wick) with the Ego t tank gives a good vape and will be my out and about vape. So far the wick has not been a problem. The Eternity is a snap to rebuild when travelling and with the Ego twist does not make too big a device. My other VV's (ProVari, Zmax, VMax, BuzzPro) are just too big to have with me when moving around. Anyway, thanks to all of you for all of the effort you have put in to make moding easy and clear to the rest of us. Gone forever are the days of tea bag mods with carts. May they not rest in peace!

Glad to hear a success story. A little tip for the Eternity is to use ss mesh for the wick that goes into the tank pin. I never tried it with my Bully A2-T clone (DV calls it the Wyvern) and then found I just prefer cotton and sold my mesh, but if I had come across that thread sooner I might have had better results with that atty, and still have some mesh to play with as well.

I don't miss disposable atties or carts either. Once you "get it" you never look back!

I wholeheartedly echo the sentiment. After many months of reading about RBAs I am finally enjoying my first one and a tank style, mesh, etc. on order.

There is no place like ECF and the creative experimental types who hang out here, and whose efforts have benefited me immensely. Nothing like following in the footsteps of greater minds!

Thanks to all, past, present & future. Vape on!
