I came across something interesting yesterday. I get google alerts for mentions of "Bloog," to help keep up with our feedback. Yesterday's google alert has an entry that started out, "It is a planet named Bloog, about the size if earth and same oxygen ... There is Zyzzes, closest to the sun, Bloog in the middle, and Raco farther away. ..."
It's from a forum called Speculative Evolution, where they discuss, and invent, fictional alien races. And one of invented a planet called Bloog:
"OK, so this is a project my friend and I are creating and I wanted to post. It is a planet named Bloog, about the size if earth and same oxygen level, and is part of a chain of three nearby planets. There is Zyzzes, closest to the sun, Bloog in the middle, and Raco farther away. Only Bloog has life that has been discovered, as the other two are too hostile to explore.
Bloog is home to a sentient race who call themselves the pingkasloths and are a decent tech level. "
Well, I knew I shouldn't, but I couldn't resist "spamming" them a little.
