This is very encouraging, even knowing that the FDA is down on the product. The distribution of truthful information such as this interview is what we need to educate the public. I agree that there are influences behind the scenes that are pushing the FDA in their attempt to control Ecigs. If I have to go to the doctor to get a prescription for a product that I already own, I will be incensed. My doctor is posting a pamphlet display in his office already as a result of my demonstration of electronic cigarettes (yes, I vaped with his permission in the examining room) and his contact with other patients who have substituted Ecigs for analogs. Many doctors are on board and the FDA needs to be curtailed.

I would welcome testing and verification of the product, though. I want to know I'm actually safe or at least much safer vaping

Did you give him a copy of the CASAA tri-fold brochure?

For those who don't know, CASAA has a pdf available for download that can be printed on Tri-fold brochute paper. Page one of the PDF is the outside panel, and page 2 is the inside panel.

There is also a CASAA Medical Infograph (8.5 x 11 Poster) intended for doctors. It illustrates the difference between the diseases associated with smoking versus the only "disease" (addiction) associated with use of an e-cigarette. Page 2 contains Electronic Cigarette FAQs.
