Please don't take anything I say wrong because the thought of the FDA banning ECIGS makes me sick & I see rite thru the BS reports to the real rea$on....

I ask this because I need to know, If it does BAN ECIGS it will create a Vacuum of consumers like us that have quit analogs & now need ecig / Accessories... Won't we still be able to buy them from vendors not in U.S. ?

There has to be ways around a BS FDA ban... How can I go online & buy thousands of XANAX w/out a RX but the FDA can stop me from getting an ECIG ???

The FDA's complaint targets the import of e-cigs for SALE in the U.S., not for personal use. It will stop large shipments intended for resale and sellers selling it here.

So, you should still be able to order everything from outside of the U.S. for PERSONAL USE.

It's my personal belief that someone would be able to order and sell the components separately, as long as they don't sell them assembled in kits with e-liquid and call them e-cigs. People should be able to buy parts and make them themselves.

e smokey treats electronic cigarette has a facebook page.....

Except we need to keep any advocacy unassociated with resellers, because it just looks self-serving.

Personally I try not to call these devices E-Cigs. I think by using the term "Cigarette" it unintentionally associates the stigma of tobacco products and labels them as a dangerous product.
I prefer to call them Electronic Nicotine Inhalators (ENIs) or Personal Nicotine Vaporizers (PNVs).
Everytime someone asks me if what Im "smoking" is an e-cigarette I tell them "No, its an ENI or PNV."
I believe if we all stopped using the term "Cigarette" to refer to these that it might help avoid a ban on them.
Just my thoughts.

to be fully effective the demonized name nicotine needs removing as well.. cigarette and nicotine are "linked".. in most peoples minds they mean the same thing..

things that look like cigarettes are cigarettes.. things that are designed to look like cigarettes and deliver nicotine are effectively cigarettes in the minds of the majority.. basically we are outnumbered on this one..

the defense of "freedom" might be the only effective line of attack.. it used to work until the antis came up with passive smoking..

as long as we aint harming them they should let us do it.. why not... its our business and only our business..

It all seems like a way for the American government to find a way to regulate and tax the Chinese made device. With the amount of money attained through tobacco tax, it is rather wrong to assume that they wouldn't want to find a way to tax something that delivers the same addictive chemical that keeps people coming back. Especially when it looks like the product they are taxing the **** out of to begin with.

Yet that alone will take some wiggling around, regardless though, it's all a shame and should be fought tooth and nail. I don't want to import all of my stuff in any way that would be illegal, I don't want to see all the great suppliers in US go out of business, but the last thing I want to do is return to analogs.

You can only fool school kids with politically correct names (well some adults with school kid mentality), not the gov't types that create such names. If that were the case then, we should call it the Chairman Mao Green Cuban Healthcare Cigar and the current gov't would take over the ecig business and sell them themselves.
