What is a t.m.c? Tried Google, but for no avail. Would like to buy the artistic gizmo, but I saw a Youtube vid of making one with a drill too. What do you recommend?

Piano tuners are great. Wouldn't have much classical music without.

Tension micro coil. A light lit.

Nopes, that was wound with the spool you see and the pin vise laying beside it on the drill blank it's wrapped on.

Took less than 20 seconds.

Nail it every time. Well, mostly. LOL

Let me rephrase.. I pinch if I have to reposition the coil or if I get a hot leg while dry firing. I get hot legs cuz I suck for some reason

No you don't suck. I've found that any tensioned contact micro coil with less than 8 wraps will produce hot legs that can be next to impossible to remove.

Try 8 wraps (or more if you like but never less) using the gauge of wire that gets you your target resistance. Wind it in tension, mount it, pulse it (see the hot legs) then just run a rod / needle of a slightly smaller diameter than the inner diameter of your coil thru a few times (cue stick style) and your hot legs 15 seconds of fame will come to an abrupt end

Here's a short vid where I mount coils and cue them up. Zero squeezing. Never. If one has to squeeze the mechanics of the coil are off.

Now this vid has no talking cause is self explanatory but it takes you thru mounting coils, cueing, wicking then vaping.

Note if you don't like metal, you may wanna turn it down. And remember that while your atty may differ from this one, the principals are the same. Rock on
