It's a secret!
Here's my thinking. If it were a planned test, then they did it in daylight, off the coast of Cali. They would have had to have a plan for dealing with possible sightings. IF this were the case, then when first questioned, the pentagon could have just said it was a test fire from a sub. End of Story. Whether or not it was some sort of top-secret missile or not doesn't matter. Just say it was a test and everyone says "ok" and the story dies.

Instead, we get "we don't know" then, "maybe a test or an accident" to finally "it's just an aircraft".

Kinda reminds me of, "There was no alien crash" to, "it was a weather balloon" to finally, "it was swamp gas". Just an example.

To me, it sounds more like we perhaps had a foreign nation get their sub to within 35 miles off our shore. This sub then launched a missile out into the ocean as a show of force. I say this because of the totally dis-organized response from a government who appeared to be caught by surprise.

Obama, being overseas and very non-confrontational, doesn't want word of this to get out so instead decides to cover it up until they figure out what to do.

Just a theory.

Sounds like a pretty good theory to me! China comes to mind.

You're on to something here Jason... I've received 'unofficial confirmations' via email it was China. ;)

Here is a comparison of a Vandenberg AFB launch of an OSPTLV (Orbital Suborbital Program Target Launch Vehicle) missile (telephoto 2000 by Brian Webb) to the recent UFO image over Southern California. Notice the trajectory and contrail similarity.
The Vandenberg launch was in conjunction with Orbital Sciences Corp. (NYSE:ORB)

So frustrated...recorded Glenn Beck because of your post Lisa and have been watching the past 3 days. Today, just as he was telling us how to prepare for what's ahead there was a special news report on the president in Korea. So...I missed it. Did anyone else catch the last 15 minutes w/o interruption?

Yea, I saw the whole thing. The last 15 minutes is when he told us what we can/should do. Stock up on food and supplies. He went into detail about it, about canning and or buying 1 years supply of food. He said that he has a 1 year supply for his whole family, they did it over the last year because he really believes that hyperinflation is coming where a pound of coffee will cost like $75.00 and so on. This has happened before, in germany. The Fed is going to print a ton of new money which is going to drive down the dollar so much that it will bring on hyperinflation like they saw in germany back then.

I"ve been harping on my husband about this for the last few months to stock up, he doesn't want to spend the money, which is foolish, but he's coming around now and starting to buy a few extra large bags of beans and rice every week and we are just storing it.

Peanut butter is a great thing to store, it lasts forever and it's a miracle food. If you have a backyard and can grow things, buy heirloom seeds. These are seeds that you only have to buy once because they are not hybrid seeds. Every veggie that you grow from one of these seeds will produce hundreds of other seeds that will germinate and sprout over and over again, forever. Regular seeds do not produce plants that can re-seed themselves, only heirloom non-hybrid seeds. You can buy them online, I"m going to get a bunch and learn how to grow this spring.

He said if nothing happens in the next 2 years, you can laugh at him all day long, and then you can eat the food that you've stored, so what have you lost? He is begging people to prepare by stocking up on food cause that's all we can really do to protect our families from starving when this happens. I believe him.

In the past, after Katrina, we started putting some extra aside and when I would mention this to family and friends, it was like 'God hasn't laid that on my heart.' Just leave those folks alone. Do what you will do and I hate to say this, but if you talk about it much, when people are hungry and they know you have and they don't, they will kill you for it. I know.......this sounds fictional and harsh, but have you turned on the tv lately? Figure how many you can take care of. Count your family members. Don't forget the children's story of the ants and the grasshopper. If you like coffee....stock it now. Also think how you are going to be able to defend your family's food. It could come down to that. Do you have a generator? You can buy M.R.E.s but have no idea how they taste. Those last awhile......canned goods last awhile....rice .....beans for protein, you can even buy canned butter and crackers, too. There are 2 places that I know are reputable.....Internet Groceries and Emergency Essentials. Rice is a great item. It'll keep forever. Don't forget salt and pepper, too. You can build a little at a time, and even if you don't have a year's worth, what you have will be better than what you have now.

To put back your medications, all you have to do is take 2-3 pills a month. Most insurance companies will refill a Rx if it's 5 days and under left of your Rx. Now I don't know about insulin, but you can use cold packs to keep your supply fresh, I would think. What about bathing? Washing your clothes? This is where rainwater can come into play. This is all in case electricity is just too expensive....other utilities as well. What about water? Or purifying tablets to where you can use creek water. Just stop and look at what you consume and need everyday. There are ways around this! :)
