Can Aspire coils be rebuilt?I like mine for vaping Betelgeuse and Gravity, because those flavors are so intense, the muting helps. I still get all the flavor but less of the intensity. I got my coils from Viper vape this time. Since I only have two in rotation they'll last a while. Now that I can rebuild my kangers I'm getting cheap

They can, I saw Rip Tripper do it. But getting them apart is a PITA. He left is in the base and attached it to a mod to pull off that little tube, which can't be good for the threading. I've tried getting them apart by hand and ended up with very sore fingers even with pliers.

OK, All you enablers - the enablee (me) tried building my first coil on an Octopus tonight. Built it to 2.1 ohm resistance, 28 ga., wicked with cotton and all I got was burning e-juice.
What was wrong?? Not enough cotton? How do you get a wad threaded through after the coil is built? Geez, I feel like a dope 
- but figured the only dumb question was the one left unasked... what next??? I love emoticons! ha. it doesn't take much to entertain me!

Congrats on the coil!! Do you have it on a variable voltage device or a mech?
Pictures would help this effort. Usually the problem is too much cotton, not too little... cotton swells, it should slide loosely through the coil when dry, and contact every part of the coil when when (but still slide out relatively easy with a little force)
