i just posted it to my facebook profile and sent it directly to the THREE (intelligent and political people who should know better than to freak out by reading a news snippet from the fda without looking into it further) people i know who have already emailed or texted me that they were worried since i was apparently "smoking antifreeze".

Arrrgh. This is a commentary and he's as free to opine as any idiot espousing the opposite. I want links to fair and balanced reports in mainstream media, not blogs. This reads well, but his interpretation begs another in a similar vein:

If one out every 100 bullets caused the gun to blow up when fired, what action would be taken?

Anyone think those bullets would just continue to be manufactured, as is, 'cause 99 out of 100 work perfectly? No? Well, anyone think they'd all be banned, given demand? No? How about putting in place quality assurances that bullets won't cause guns to blow up, putting a freeze on manufacturing until quality control is a fact?

That's what e-smoking faces. Until more is known and quality control is a given, our practice will continue under attack. No blog or forum post will change that fact.
