The ipv2 and the sigelei 50 watt. Now they both have the same chip. Same features except for the fact that the ipv2 has a touch sensor and 2 screws for the back, while the sigelei has a convenient magnet at the back and no touch sensor. I really like both, but i dont know which is better or even another apv the i dont know about that is better then these two and has the same price. What should i go for ?

I would hold off on the IPV2, and purchase the IPV2S when it comes out in a few weeks. It will not have the touch fire button, bigger screws, water resistant, better, flush mounted buttons, 60 watts, and have the ability to have the firmware upgraded to possibly 80+ watts. At 80 watts, that battery will go quickly, but damn!!! Also, if you are looking for a dual 18650 mod box, then wait until green leaf makes the IPV3S/IPV4, where it will be most likely upgraded the same way the IPV2S has been upgraded compared to the IPV2. :2c:

I don't have sigelei 50 watt but I do have a IPV 2..

I have been using IPV 2 for few weeks and for a average vaper like me, i really happy with this device, good for sub ohms.

As for the IPV touch sensor, to me it a redundant features and doubt I will use it. Anyway the 2 tiny screw for IPV really is PITA..

Imo..every devices has they own advantages and disadvantages features so at your end you still have to decide yourself.

................................. does anyone have any other box mods they could share on this. maybe dual vw devices ?

Would you consider the Cloupor T5? It's not really a box mod but I think its beautiful. I just ordered one myself... cant wait for it to come in the mail.

    No you can't
After posting and reading up on this mod it does everything I want including firmware upgrade, I couldn't resist it anymore at $89.95 so I Jumped on the Cloupor T5 50 Watt Variable Wattage Mod can't beat the price.

    Edit in.
I had to call the vendor because I made a mistake with my email address, needless to say they answered the phone and it was updated and they resent my tracking number already from Vaporrange.com

well, sounds like they're definitely looking like a good site! Good to know. They have authentic hammers for 99. may have to order one.

Two things I look for with a vendor telephone number and I do a domain search to see how long it's been around.

Got caught almost two months ago when I ordered a Sigelei-30 let my guard down, I did get the product though had a problem with it and after emailing the vendor they said mail it back for a refund they received it and five emails later no response from them but I was able to get a charge back from CC. Now the site is down, It's the internet.

The touch sensor technology employed on the ipv is the only thing that would concern me.
It appears to be some type of capacitive technology meaning anything with significant water content could trigger it possibly unintentionally without direct contact or it could remain firing beyond activation.

If you're not going to use that then it's just a gimmick your paying extra for.
