This is not per say a problem but just a head scratcher that I'm sure I'm overlooking, I own a early ipv2 50w with a touch sensor and a late Ipv3 150w no charging port and disabled touch sensor, anyhow I can swap my orchid, goblin or Subtank between the two and get the same ohm reading between the two and have my watts on each set at 20 but the ipv2 always hits hotter and harder, I find myself backing it down when I grab it while I'm charging batteries etc, just wondering if anyone else has run into this or am I over looking something simple ???

The ipv2 doesn't have step down, so it always fires at a minimum of the battery's voltage. The ipv3 has step down, so it fires at the wattage you set.

Thank you ! I knew I was over looking something, I have the Ipv2 & ipv3 along with a ipv mini 2 and I knew something was definitely different with the 50w ipv2......
