I do love conspiracy theories. It can get much more complicated if your ask me.

On the other side, I'm sad, I do really like some previous posts from budkiss on IPVs related threads, but I do have a pre-order on elev8, can anyone see my dilemma here?

Well, if it really turns out that budkiss will be a faker, I guess we should send a screenshot of the faked "interview" to the people of p4y...guess it would be very interested for them, too...and maybe THEN there will be a person that won't even longer getting mods from them...? But at this time, nobody knows what's REALLY true...so don't judge by now, I think...

How exactly would a design engineer know specifics like that about the relationship between p4u and elev8? That's highly suspect.

I just asked the question. (whicih now i wish i had never done.) He didn't go into details.

I don't have any working knowledge of how P4Y operates nor the job description details of the two guys i communicated with. It isn't really my place to ask, "are you qualified to respond to that question?" I simply wanted more info on the IPV3 so i took a leap of faith and emailed. Got a reply and then we skyped. Got a couple email replies after.
The interview was about a new product... not a specific vendor.

Man... what i thought would be helpful relay of information i learned has turned out to be a real headache.

You state these were design engineers in your first post yet now you don't know their job description?

Also here is ANOTHER possibility: both are telling the truth. You know how every time you look up something in alibaba, you see multiple reps from the same manufacturer posting their own listings for the same item?

It is more than likely that these reps earn commission off the sales through them.

So. What if what has simply happened is that elev8 went through rep A, while budkiss talked to rep B, who also happened to be supplying to the other vendors.

Rep B would then have an incentive to post misinformation about elev8 and well, budkiss happened to be unlucky enough to be on the wrong side of the information asymmetry.

In any case, best thing to do is still to wait a couple of days before calling out for blood.

Think about it: if budkiss does turn out to be a scam, there's plenty of time for a "crucifixion" (not that I'm endorsing it)

On the flip side, if budkiss turned out to be either right or just a innocent fella who got the wrong source, then everyone ripping at him are gonna look like pretty much the biggest ...hole around.

I'm with kiwi, let it play out and see what happens. I for one, will be waiting until everyone posts their "ZOMG got my mod from elev8" or "ZOMG they stole my moneys" until I pull the trigger.

IDC anyways just enjoying the show but still be fair to the guy man, innocent until proven guilty and all that. Its not unheard of for Businesses big or small to use below the belt methods to beat the competition in a highly competitive industry anyway just look at Samsung when they trolled HTC online LOL. That don't mean it's right but if you got a working brain you get what i'm saying, all these calls for blood i hope none of these web samurai's have ever done anything wrong before and their .... better smell like roses the way they acting lol

This is 2 different stores selling the same exact product and P4U claiming that elev8 is "stealing business" from their buyers when elev8 is one of their buyers. Or so one of the many claims being said. As i said earlier, it's sounding more and more like a grade school playground fight where tommy and dave are fighting because eric told them each separately that each other said something about each other while eric is off in the corner laughing on the swing that all 3 wanted to use.

A simple screenshot of Skype and/or the e-mails in question would put some people's concern to rest. Although, those can easily be forged as well.

I'm talking about Samsung paying people to comment/troll articles on HTC phones saying how crap they are and how much better Samsung is, not the same but just an example of how out of turn business practices that aren't uncommon, not right but common.

I just thought the comments mentioning the guys kids were way out of line, way waay out of line, and the comments like 'you were betting on the stupidity, laziness, and gullibilty of the average ECF schmuck', ''I'm deeply offended by your actions, as I'm sure every ECF member is too', really manipulative language clearly tryna incite hatred against this guy without no solid proof of these accusations - he could well be just someone interested in the new 100w box mod and sharing things he found when he asked.

I think all of this speculation by everyone is doing more harm than good. As stated above, this will all pan out one way or the other in the coming days. I personally am leaning towards the 'multiple vendors' theory, but maybe I want to try to see the potential good in everyone. IMO its very possible that BudKiss is just a new member who tried to do something good for the community, got wrapped up in more than expected and now looks bad due to it. At the same time elev8vape seems to be a fairly prominent company with a reputation to protect (outside of all of this IPV nonsense that everyone has experienced). I do not see why a company would go out of their way to screw customers - it makes no business sense. With so many places to get vaping supplies these days, every company/vendor/distributor should be attempting to thrive off of a satisfied and healthy customer base. Granted, yes they probably got way more orders than they could handle due to their very competitive pricing but overall they appear to be nothing but transparent in their announcements and public discussions. Hell, they have the cheapest price for it that I have seen thus far yielding more orders than expected I am sure, and who wouldn't want vaping gear for cheaper! From everything I have followed thus far I think it will all pan out to a misunderstanding from everyone. I have no dog in this fight one way or the other but I do hope it works out for the best for everyone. I am new to this forum and hate seeing topics and issues go to die due to speculation and uninformed facts. Lets try to get back to the topic at hand and all of this will be made clear very soon I am sure.

Ive not done biz with P4Y, but my fam has been doing biz with China for a very very long time.

I have a hard time believing P4Y cares about what retailers are charging.

If elev8 was giving them away free along with a crisp new hundred dollar bill do you think P4Y would care? They got their money.

Thats what i have been saying all along as well , some people will believe anything their preferred vendor says , the thing that really cracks me up though is some seem confused about who they are supporting .

I noticed that some people who liked your post also liked some of the above posts going against your philosophy , too funny .
