Hello I've been trying to figure out the strength of nicotine I was getting in my Camel cigarettes but I couldn't find an answer anywhere. Well I just stumbled across this a few minutes ago and realize that I need to buy 16mg to get what I've been smoking all these years. Unfortunately all I can find is 18mg or 12mg. So I'll go with the 18mg.

Now since I can't post links I have to space this out a bit so sorry for that.

electroniccigarettecompany . com / strengths . cfm

Hopefully this is useful to anyone else that is just starting out. Being on my 3rd day of using my e-cig and going from smoking a pack of Camel's to smoking 2 Camel's a day I'm just about ready to give up the old analogs as soon as I completely ween myself off of them which is going much quicker than I thought it would.

No one actually knows how much nicotine we absorb from e-liquids. No one knows for sure if the nicotine concentrations for commercially available e-liquids are accurate. If I would trust any estimation of nicotine content in a juice, it would be Johnson Creek Smoke Juices. All of that said, the only way for you to properly gauge nictonie input is to listen to what your body tells you. If you are overdoing it, you will know.

I smoked full flavor Newport menthols for 30+ years. I started out primarily with 36mg/ml and 24mg/ml strength juices. After getting over the 'hump', I can now be satisfied with 24mg and 18mg juices. Occassionally, though, I will go for a few draws of 36mg, but now, I can feel the effects of this which I did not feel when I first started vaping. There is nothing wrong with going with a high nic juice to start, particularly if you are trying to come off analogs. You always have the option to reduce the strength via dilution.

I'm with you, breakfastchef. I think it's better to get a little higher than you think you need because you can always cut it.
