So, there's this thread in the negative supplier review forum called "GotVapes Blows". I'd never ordered from GotVapes so, I clicked on the post to see if this may be a vendor that I should avoid.
It seemed that the poster had a bad experience with one of the cartomizers offered by GotVapes; it wasn't what he expected. Now, just because you don't like a product a supplier offers doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the supplier. This got me curious, I wondered what products GotVapes offers. So naturally, I went poking around their website.
I was impressed with the variety of products they carry and found some that I wanted to try out. So, after about an hour and a full cart I checked out. I received discounted upgraded shipping for my $$$ order and got 5% off by signing up for the newsletter. So, in a weird way, a negative supplier review got you a new customer.
I'll be stalking my mailman until I get my order. I even recommended GotVapes to a co-worker based on the product selection!

Welcome, always love to see a new face...ummm avatar thingie ;)

For some reason I have never quite understood gotvapes seems to be just a highly controversial company, lol. But most of us are pretty friendly over here. You should check out the contest thread up at the top where the serious magic happens.

If I were to dump on every vendor that I bought a juice from that I didn’t like, a PV. carto or clearo that failed to wow me…I’d be dumping on every company I’ve dealt with. I do my research before buying and if it turns out not to float my boat…that’s my fault.

The fact of the matter is that GV sells many of the products I want to buy for a fair price, ships those items quickly and when there’s a mistake or true defect they make good on it. That’s all that I ask for in a vendor, and what I get from GV.

Teebz - so funny to see you started this - I came to GV Forum to start a post to make a comment on that too.

When I read a review anywhere - Amazon, JCPenney's - anywhere; I weed out reviews like that and completely disregard them.

A negative review does not have to be so stupidly hateful. And to not even try to resolve the issue, well there you go.

The statement "The customer is ALWAYS right" is not always the case.

This guy broke every rule in postign in the Negative section. Rolygate and Chuck have been notified but I so wish some of the other mods would be trained and proactive in enforcing the rules ECF already has in place: first it was unnecessairly malicious (the guy rarely posts in ECF and seems to have created an account just to vent in a rather malicious personal way) then on top of that it breaks ECF's own 7 day rule. We were never contacted in tickets. Roly himself posted a sticky on the 7 day rule.

This is not a rant on other mods sans chuck but please guys we work hard and we actually bend over backwards for our customers and also for ECF. Is someone besides Chuck (oldsoldier) at the wheel? This (the ticket) shouldn't have survived more than a few hours. And this is the second time in about two weeks the 7 day rule was ignored.

i'm willing to bet, since he's only been vaping 6 weeks , that he didn't give the carto's time to soak in.

It's very frustrating to receive a new product and, looking forward to using it, it turns out it doesn't work. But adults deal with this frustration understanding the process involved in buying online. It takes time to deal with issues online and one must have patience while giving the vendor a chance to correct the issue. Imagine if you went to a brick and mortar and ranted like that at the Returns counter. You would look like a fool.
