Heres a sad story of my twins....my eGo twins that is!
The eGo twins have been with me since the beginning. Aquired at my local vape shop for a decent price and an adaquet replacement to the use'em and loose'em BLUs. See I bought the BLUs to dip my feet into the world vaping after giving my complete and utter attention after my old man switched from those stinky analogs. The Olddawg wasn't coughing up his cig-a-likes to me so I had to start somewhere!
Now the fine folks at the vapor shop who sold me the twins did an awesome job at showing me the ins, outs, tips, and tricks of the eGo and with their tasty juices I was soon in vaping bliss, they were instrumental in putting me on the road that would eventually lead me to a little village only known as REOville.
The honeymoon period was great.....well mostly. See with the Twins came thier friends. EVOD, T3S, Carto the Tank, and of course those "things" that came with the twins. Things were ok in the months that followed. Ok as being that the friends frequently became incontinent of their liquids, couldn't find their flavor even with the help of a GPS, and would hit you softer then cotton! Needless to say the Honeymoon period was short lived.
Back in my Army days, living in the Republic of Texas, a 1SG told me to "Strive for the hard life". Well Top, with the twins I'm definitely living the hard life! I grinned and bared it for 5 months, 5 days, and 16 hours! It was not very long before I found ECF and saw what everyone else was vaping with. Scouring the internets for a replacement to the twins proved to be frustrating at best but none the less very informative if not enjoyable at times! The fine folks at the vape shop showed me all of their PVs, Smoktech this, Innokin that, Vamos here, there, everywhere! Online was not much different except for hands on feel of these works of art. With all the mods I've seriously looked at getting, ALL of them where missing that certain something. I needed something that felt great in my hand, something that while most others out there would consider to be ugly yet meet my every need in functionality and practicallity.....something that wouldn't land me in the boss' office with the explicit instructions of "Here, pee in this cup to the fill line"! My search was relatively short lived although the financial aspects of raising a 4 year old DIVA however made it very sought after!
What I needed was an absolute workhorse! One that could handle the "suck" of EMS and be raring to go after 12+ hours on an ambulance. I needed something could handle being in my pocket as I contort myself inside a wrecked car and KNOW that it'll deliver at the end of the call! I needed something compact that doesn't scream.....LOOK AT ME I'M VAPING A LIGHTSABER!
I needed a REO!
The weak hitting, incontenent, q-tip killing, flavor for a minute.......After 5 months, 5 days, and 16 hours....the Twins day of reckoning had arrived!
Everybody meet.......Syren!
Syren the Mini REO of the 2.1 edition arrived at 1045 on the 30th of September, 2013 and she is a little aluminum brick POWERHOUSE! Syren made very quick work on who's the boss in this neighborhood! She has friends too ya know. Carto is one of them but if you treat it well, it won't let you down like it will with the twins. She also has another friend, Miss RM2 but here trip has been postponed a few weeks due to technical difficulties.
She is not incontinent of her liquids, packs a throat hit punch time and time again......no mo vaping air! Best of all, she doesn't need a GPS to find the flavor......as a matter of fact the GPS needs Syren to give it directions! She's easy to squonk and after the first 4 hours with her, every hit so far is like the very first one!
A HUGE thanks to Rob and Spike! Syren as made herself a permanent place in my vaping heart!!!
