I kinda agree to a point but it is possible that someone will buy one not knowing it was stolen and that could start problems. Also it sounds like they will still be missing some key parts to make GG's

I want to share my condolences as well. I think it would be best to omit the serial numbers too. It will make the thieves' (if they were stolen) lives much more difficult in terms of selling the goods.

As for the serials, its really difficult to find what I miss. My sellers dont keep records of serials. Who could thought that something like this could happen?

And I agree with checking the local scrap yards I've known some scrappers before and you wouldn't believe the stupid risks they will take to earn a buck sometimes.
