More VG = less TH and more vapor. Try some VG- only juice and extrapolate from there an approximate PG/VG ratio that you will like.
which shop can I order stuff pre-mixed ??? Because I have a bunch awesomevapor juice and I dont think they can mix for me or there it isnt an option when you order from them...

first things first, you should probably dial down your nicotine level, (Keep that in mind for your next purchase, approximately 12-18mg of nicotine is considered average). To lessen the throat hit on your current juice go to Walmart and pick up some Humco VG, the bottle will be clear and say GLYCERIN on the front, it can be found in the pharmacy section. Typically I would mix that high amount of nic juice with either 1/3 or 1/2 VG, this will produce more vapor and dramatically decrease the throat hit. However keep in mind you will be diluting flavor but it will still be present.

thats the one thing I dont what to do is mix my own stuff... because unlike some of you ... I'm not good a eye balling or figure out the percentage of misture... Unless its electronically calculated then I'm screwed...

So I'll try to poke around and check out more eliquid stores... but as of right now I already ordered a sample batch from awesomevapor and they are at a lower nictone content ... I'm on 24mg and I ordered 18mg ... soo we'll see how it'll work out ... Thanks for the info guys ...

Hey Ripp!

Agree with Quasi that More VG = Less TH and more vapor. IMO, nic level doesn't have that much effect on th. I vape only 24 mg nic and get very soft and smooth th. I've also had 14 mg nic that had me coughing. I'm not a fan of th, especially when chain vaping. To me, vapor rules.

As Quasi said, you may want to start with 100% vg. That's all I vape because I like a smooth inhale and massive vapor on exhale. One of my all day vapes is Cignot's Tobacco #1 in their Basic line. Was reviewed by three members here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ts-new-basic-tobacco-flavors.html#post1395866.

You may be happy with all vg like me. If not extrapolate from there as Quasi suggested.

Good luck Ripp!

this is most likely due to the high nic throat hit, occasionally i use high mg nic juice to force me to cough up any flem or mucus thats stuck. I recommend you stop using your current juice unless you plan on cutting it down with vg (which I believe you said you'd prefer not to). To be honest if you mess up while mixing your own juice theres really no downside, the worst case scenario is that you cut it too thin and the flavor becomes weak, but you will still get lots of vapor and you won't be coughing up a lung. best of luck

I still think nic level has only a moderate to small effect on th. I use 25 mg exclusively now in all my juices and I get minimal th (have chain vaped this stuff for 6 hours straight w/o throat irritation). Had 18 mg that I just could not handle the th (reminded me of inhaling cigars) so I chucked them. Recently tried a friend's 12 mg that was uncomfortable to me.

The vg/pg ratio is what dominates th, imho.

I suggest that you take long, slow and light draws for about 3-4 seconds, while holding the vapor (steam) in your mouth and then inhaling. It gives the vapor time to cool a bit. Also, much of the nicotine is absorbed (through the lining of your mouth) while the vapor is in your mouth.

I think your nicotine level is just fine. It just appears that you are taking what is called 'throat hits'. Straight inhales into the lungs of vapor while it is its warmest.

actually doing that already ... holding vapor in my mouth and then inhaling...

So let me get this straight the higher VG the smoother it is and the Higher the PG the more TH you get ... Is that right ???

Yes, that is correct. The VG also tones down the nicotine 'bite' and the flavor, but increases the vapor and sweetness (just a bit). The flavor also makes a difference, even 0mg, all VG, Atomic Cinnacide from TastyVapor will give many people a strong throat hit!

And, its been said before, keep your throat moist with the beverage of your choice.

Agree w/ that Sandford!

Totally forgot about flavors and th. Thanks for reminding me. btw, I think I might be the only member who doesn't like the smell of cinnamon candy/gum. Wish I did tho, because of the great reviews for AC.

problem is they only have 10mg of nicotine I think I'll try them after I step down from 18mg.

Understood. I usually just add a few drops on a top off ;-) That seems to do the trick. I know it dilutes but that's part of the process of lessening and the flavor doesn't take such a hit on a few drops.
