24! Now that's a mighty good age for any dog. Bless him - hope dogs' heaven has his brand...

DC, I followed Madog's link to the site giving veterinary advice about poisoning - one thing it seemed quite emphatic about was NOT giving salt to induce emesis (vomiting). Know I already said this but as a result I do think that article on e-cig news should be retitled or removed. If someone is in a panic, they may not have time to actually read the article even if you add a comment to the effect that actually it isn't a good idea.

Sorry if I sound like a nag, but rather like e-smoking myths I'd rather the net wasn't plastered with bad advice and inaccurate information even if some folk at least go by the tenet of 'don't believe everything you read'! :D

Love'n'peace
(reminds me, better go look at the Iraq thread to see if there's blood all over it...)

Thanks for your concern tetsab. I have now re-titled that link to the pet forum to:

It is believed by some that the advice given at this forum is incorrect and giving salt to a dog to induce vomiting after it has swallowed nicotine may cause it harm. This link will be updated or deleted at a latter stage.

I have also linked back to this thread. I will update or delete the link when silianfoxb finds out for sure from his vet hopefully.
