Quitting cigs... i now wish i would have never gone into that store at the ripe age of 15 that had that dang machine that spit them out at the low cost of $1.50 !!! IM 30 somthing now and for the 4th time trying to quit.. and let me tell you it is harder everytime you try..

I started googling e-cigs after my sister showed up w/one, an $85 401 kit that she found online somewhere.

Her issue was that it made her head spin
, so she thought she would bring it to me...I smoke more than her but Ultra lights she does lights. So thats how I came across this place, was trying to find out what I had etc. I determined the problem is that the carts were 24 MG & yeah they made our heads spin, So after reading for awhile & shopping around ...I found strictlyejuice & ordered a 901 kit ($27) & some low & very low e-juice small sample bottles & blue foam pcs... fluval in my 401 was questionable... & our order showed up in 3 days ...and we were off !
She did well (no analogs 7-8 days) then she started to feel like her face & throat was swelling ??? We have alot of allergies & it's hard to tell if it was the e-cig or not (she had also moved into new house) So she put her's down. She really was very pleased with the whole process & her new 901,now she is so upset by the whole thing she doesn't even want to discuss it. I am thinking I need to order some VG supplies & do the DIY thing & see if she has the same symptoms... I need to get her up & vapin' again .
My experience was also great but doomed ... I like the 401 and all seemed to be going well (no analogs) till the 4rd day. I woke up & was all happy to go grab my "silly cig" as I had been callin' it & It wouldn't WORK !! waaaaa I was crying with in about 5 mins of trying to figure out what was up ... the light lit up but NO VAPOR ...I lasted about 30 mins before I was @ 7-11 with tears in my eyes buying cigs ! It sucked !! But I calmed down & got on here & started lookin' for an answer ...found it @ utube . Once I saw the video RE: NOT TWISTING your atomizer I realized that I had probably twised it a million times, so I fooled with it..twist/suck/twist/suck & I found that there was sweet spot where it would work. So now I am very carefull when removing cart & it works most of the time.
So I am still smokin' analogs & lookin' for 401 spare parts & more flavors to try & have about decided that I'm just going to order another 901 kit. @ $27 & free shipping how wrong can it be atleast I should have one working all the time & quit buying analogs!

non-smokers just don't understand how tough quitting can really be
I quit my job a full months ago to build a business that I was doing on the side and now spend ALL day on the computer. This has really increased my smoking level as it's just too accessible. I work outside on my patio (yes, even in AZ in the dead of summer) because I find I just am more focused if I have the cig and ashtray right by me and we don't smoke in the house.
I think my kit comes with a pass-through and you guys have convinced me to add a manual battery to my list.
Can't wait to join you in the vaping experience. That package should arrive before the end of the next week!

I'm planning on getting a usb passthrough does anyone here know if there are any real advantages to getting one with an inline battery other than being able to use it when disconnected? is that really the only benefit to the one over the other?
The battery in a USB pass-through should buffer the current load on your PC USB port. On some older PC's I have noticed the ports do not seem to be protected as well, newer PC's should shut the USB port down if overloaded. If you plan on running a hot atty with long vapes, I would definitely suggest an inline battery.
