pretty much any volt product i have been using lasts about 3 months and dies, x2's 68's 78's

i dont think i'm a heavy user, maybe 5 minutes a day some days not at all.

the clero's and carto's work great but my batteries not so much.

i switched to the x2 and now i plug it in and its has to be in a certain position or it wont charge, i wiggle the plug and it flashes on and off, cant use it as a pass through. the plug has never been jerked out of the battery or mangled in any way and i always have the cap on after charging.

any thing i can do to fix this, i cant afford any more batteries i have a pile of dead ones already.

my original X2's cable also became finicky. But the newer one fit better. Do you have the older short cable or the newer longer one? If the cable doesn't fit tightly then put in a CS ticket and they can exchange it out for a new one.

I use all my batteries pretty regularly and they are still going strong after over a year. Seems odd that yours are not. Sorry :(

how?!!! Given that you are smoke free for 114 days (according to banner) you'd have to recharge it 3 times a day without exceptions.

they lasted 2-3 hours,,,,,,,,that's at LEAST 3 X a day,,,,,,probably much more, to be honest,,,,,,,I'd take on off the charger and put the other one ON the charger. 2-3 hours later, I'd do it again.

just want to clarify. Are you saying that all your 78s together have been recharged 300+ times (this is certainly easy) or that each of them (or one particular battery) went through 300 recharges (it's possible in theory (assuming that u have only 2 batteries in continuous rotation for ~4 months) but hard to believe in practice.)

I guess I wasn't clear on that,,,,,,ONE of my 78mms is dead,,,,,,,the other is still alive and working fine,,,,,,,the one that's dead is my favorite color, and it wouldn't shock me to discover that it was the one I used the most,,,,,,,and therefore charged the most. I do think my red 78 (dead one) was charged at least 300 times,,,,,since they last 2-3 hours, I'd easily charge it 3X a day,,,,I will admit to chain vaping,,,,,,

I don't work outside the home, so it really had no down time. Wake up at 9am,,,,,,,vape til 11:30 or so,,,,charge,,,,,,finished charging at 2 or 3,,,,,,,,vape it again,,,,,,,,,dies at 6 or 7 (I do have housework to do  ),,,charge again,,,finishes charging at 10pm,,,,,vape it until 1am,,,,,,,,,charge it again while I sleep and start all over again.

I vape far more than I used to smoke and I was a 2 pack a day smoker, though so YMMV.

I did only have two, though, so much more use of the batts.

I am a super heavy vaper and my 78's last a few hours at best. I have a bunch of them so I can keep up with my vaping demands!!! Even the 650 doesn't last me for an all day outing. Heck, even the 900 has a hard time lasting all day. I don't mind since I am constantly vaping.

I definitely vape a lot. I have 3, 4, 5 flavors going at the same time. I have a car charger and cord for charging on the road:)

I still love my 78's since I feel they look nice and fit well into a pocket but I think my bigger batteries are nice too. I guess the good news is that I am fortunate enough to have the funds to buy pretty much what I want in vaping. Especially since I am saving about $200 a month on smoking.

I was a 2 pack a day smoker as well.

Although I did have to have 2 batteries replaced, the replacements are both working great and my other batteries seem to be doing fine.

Thank you for clarification. With just 2 batteries in rotation everything makes perfect sense now. I was surprised initially because I thought that most people (including myself) use 3-4-5 78s and/or some X2s. Looks like we've started vaping at about the same time in June, but my batteries have seen only 30-50 charges so far. But that's because I use 3 78s and 3 X2s :)

Great comment, betaalex: My wife and I have about 20 batteries in rotation (I know, sounds excessive...lol) This way though, the charging cycles are much, much lower and thus we have batteries 6 months old that still work seemingly as new. It is very nice though, in that we can take off for a weekend trip and never have to charge a battery!
