Not sure if I have a problem with mine or if the behavior is normal. When I first got the x2 each time I plugged it in, the blue led would turn on immediately. I normally plugged it in after 2 days of use. Now it hardly ever turns on when I plug it in (the light under the cap). The battery doesnt seem to be lasting as long either and I wonder if it is charging at all. I have tried different cables and plugging into several different usb 2.0 devices as well as 2 different VOLT wall chargers. Sometimes the light comes on, sometimes nothing. Other times it will sit for awhile maybe 10-15 minutes then suddenly come on? I will plug it in for the night and leave it and although I rarely see the light turn on, it seems to charge? Other times it will turn on immediately, charge for a half hour then off and tend to die very quickly under light use. Other times it will charge for several hours and last 2-3 days of use. Should I be draining the battery down fully until it flashes on the button? Is there some sort of "smart charger" technology built in where it won't top off a half or 3/4 charged battery? Time for a warranty return?

Actually, completely draining the battery before each recharge is going to be harder on the battery, from what I understand.

As far as your charging issue, I agree with starsong that it sounds like a cable (or connection) issue. It is also possible that the USB connector on your battery could be an issue, rather than the battery itself. My blue led occasionally flickers, but is usually remedied when I wiggle the cable.

I have tried different cables and plugging into several different usb 2.0 devices as well as 2 different VOLT wall chargers.

3 to be exact and 2 are known working good cables that are used on other devices. I tried wiggling, plugging in slowly, small slight angles etc. I honestly think either the led light is not functioning all the time or the internal battery charge monitor is faulty. Either way I'm going to open a ticket with SI and get a replacement before this one runs out of warranty. It's just not acting like it did from the beginning. Too inconsistent and hit or miss for a full charge with a sometimes lit led. I have to get my small batts back before I do so as they are out on loan to a friend lol. Right now i have no backup!

I leave the cable always on my batt, after some use the led light's up indicating that the device is charging.
All this is normal cause it isn't really a passtrough, when you vape the energy comes from the battery, once the battery gets below a specific threshold the charger starts and get's the vattery voltage at full levels.
When you plug out the battery, vape a bit and then replug that doesn't mean that the battery needs charging and may start at some later time.
