a trend is forming

i have the new long cable, and i just went and tried my wifes cable again hers deffinatly fits way tighter i wiggled it around and it didnt blink so maybe my cable got stepped on or something.

i'll charge it up using her's later and see how it goes

i have also noticed this problem with a coupe of my x2 650s ,,ya gotta place them just right to keep them charging.

i have been using the same cable since the end of may 2012,,i have 5 of them.

its not the cable,,it is the batts.

Yeah, those cables suck. Used it ONCE as a passthrough in the car, and it got really finicky after that. What really sucks is that you'll think it's sitting there charging, and the wind will blow and knock it out of exact position - you see the blue light off thinking your X2 is charged, but nope. But now that it's out of warranty, just went out and got a better cable for $3.

Have you been cleaning the battery and charger?
About once a week I take a Q-Tip and wipe all the connections down on all my batteries and chargers, so far no problems.

i only need to charge my 650 every 3 or 4 days i'm a light user, but i like the flavor i get with the clero and the battery, maybe when i'm not broke i will buy a pair of them.

is the cable battery specific or can i go to a computer store and pick up a new cable?

Just go to the dollar store and pickup a mini usb cable. The electronic stores will charge 10x for the same thing.
