Hey all,

When do you charge your X2's? Do you let them run all the way dead and then recharge, are do you charge everyday at a certain time? Just curious because I think these batteries are best run all the way down then recharged but I'm not sure. It would be more convenient to charge at a certain time everyday (like plugging in at night) so you don't have to worry about your battery running dead in the middle of the day.

I normally charge after about 4-5 hours. Also usually have one charging overnight. That's not to say that I've never let one run all the way down...happens often. So no real schedule, I just charge them when I "feel" like it. I have also read that it's best for their health to charge them before they run out. YMMV.

On a side note...once I got a more powerful wall plug (the 1.5v instead of the .5v) the charging time was significantly faster...so that lets me charge more often. Before that, I would have 2 or 3 charging overnight.

My X2 usually stays plugged in. In front of the computer, in the car...
The Spinners I charge before I go to bed. I keep 2-3 650mAh batteries with me wherever I go and none of them ever sees the blinking "charge me" lights.

I think they die sooner if you let them drain all the way down - that's when you have to start counting the 300-cycle life thing. But I heard it's good to do this once a month to keep the battery conditioned. My batteries usually last about 11 months or so.
