So we all know how we feel about BluCig and their....substandard performance. I've used 901's since I started vaping (after being suckered into BluCigs), but last week I ran out of atty's. As I was waiting for my order of replacements (and my first 510 atty) I received a previously ordered 901>510 adapter.
I had noticed previously that the BluCig atomizers had a male connection surprisingly similar to the 510. So I thought since I was "atomizerless" why not give it a shot? So I threw my 901>510 adapter on my 6V homemade mod, threw on a BluCig atty and.....it fired! I had 6 of these things that I never used, due to the fact that I got my first 901 a week or 2 after I got my BluCigs.
SUPRISINGLY the BluCigs actually delivered a TH and vapor production on par with my 901, and nearing that of my 510 that I later received. However it seems that they tend to leak quite a bit when on the adapter, and got dry quite quickly. I also tried them on a standard 3.7V 901 battery and was surprised yet again, at the fact that the experience was not a horrible one.
So that being said if you're ever at a shortage of atty's and you have a 510 connection throw one on while you wait for your next order. Last time I checked they were $5 a pop or so, glad I have a back up plan
I've atattched images of the 510 adapter from Madvapes, my 510 (longer atty), my BluCig atty (shorter atty), my 6v mod, and my standard 901 battery)
NOTE: I believe the main reason for the BluCig's bad performance is the horrible stock batteries. Also for those who might want to know the 510 does fit the BluCig battery...but I don't recommend it....lol
