I couldn't wait any longer...
I was ready for something bigger and VV. So I've recently acquired a Sigelei Stainless Zmax v3. Got tired of changing tanks, adjusting voltages and purchased a Vamo v3. But they are both so large and heavy, especially the Sigelei in the weight department, that they rarely leave the house.
A couple of G6's with mini-tanks usually travel with me on the go.
I'm getting spoiled with the taste and vapor production of the 'big-rig' e-cigs.
The Triton Twist looks like it'll be a happy medium for on the go.
But the thing I think I love the most about the G6's are their discreetness. I carry them into work in one hand, out in the open a lot of times and no one says a thing. I think people perceive them as writing utensils. :)

Actually I applaud Halo for being uber-cautious before releasing new gear. Letting authorized re-sellers introduce them allows a wide sample of users which if there turned out to be a glaring issue for any reason, Halo could re-calibrate before releasing en masse.

Did I find any issues?

No, but there will be some complaints to be sure, primarily:

1. The Twist takes much longer to charge than a standard Triton battery of the same voltage, almost 1/3 longer.

2. The run time on the 900mah twist is closer to that of the 650mah Triton battery.

3. The lack of an led "read-out" and "doo-dad" buttons!

Now, both 1 & 2 are right in line with charge times and run times of other high quality eGo style, vv twist batteries such as the Joyetech eGo C Twist, which is a very popular/successful battery, however, I guarantee you that there will be reviews panning these attributes.

As far as 3? IMHO, it is a bit superfluous, bordering on silly. At 3.3 to 4.8 volts, this is not menat to mimic an evic, Provari, or even Vamo. For those seeking this kind of preciseness, it is time to move on to a large mod. The Triton twist is a dandy dial it right in and vape happy battery, that does what it is intended to do with no complexity required. If you can turn a knob, and read 4 markings, then you are more than good to go!

Despite being a rather long battery due to the extra circuitry, the Triton twist remains a viable carry-along battery without added buttons and "features" that would make it actually less reliable.

My only user-advice? With the Triton tank's standard 2.2 - 2.4 ohm tanks, don't plan on running it higher than 4.3 volts, and seldom that unless you want to cook your coils! With tanks/carto with higher resistance coils, you may be able to crank it up higher safely.

I had previously noticed that a freshly-charged Triton battery puts out a bit over 4.2 volts, and for the first few puffs on a Triton tank with standard coils can slightly overwhelm some ejuices for the first few puffs... the nice thing here is that when you set the voltage, unlike an unregulated battery, the voltage remains constant throughout the run cycle, providing a more consistent vape.

For me, Malibu really tastes best cranked up to around 4.1 - 4.2 volts, whereas Tribeca has a smoother flavor right around the 3.8v setting.
