One of my only complaints about my Super-Mini e-cig is the LED. It's a BRIGHT RED. No, not orange, STOPLIGHT RED. It was like a beacon and I felt it drew attention.
So, using some tiny needle-nose pliers, I took the little gray cap off the end of the battery and placed some plastic from the crimped ends of "Golden Oreos" package that I cut into tiny circles, into the end of the gray cap and replaced it. I used 2 layers, 3 made the LED almost invisible but using only 1 didn't deaden the brightness enough for me.
I wasn't able to get a good picture of it but I'll try again little later today. The effect you get is an uneven lighting (sorta like how it's supposed to look) that's toned down a lot. The yellow washed out the red from the LED so it's not as red. I had to use two microscopic drops of Krazy Glue Advanced Gel Formula to keep the gray caps back on. I found that the caps are glued on but only in one tiny spot. The first battery cap I removed left a piece of the plastic attached to the steel tube. The second battery cap, I was prepared and lifted it little by little until I found the spot where it was attached and lifted that spot directly so it'd come off cleanly. The plastic for the caps is fragile, so I had to pry gently and not squeeze it too hard with the pliers.
Heh, just thought I'd share
