Now let me just say that I am NOT a fan of any wicking type tank thingys that I have tried so far (stardusts, ce4, ce5..ce100) I tried them when I first started vaping and they were meh for a few days then the cursed flavor muting and nasty burnt plastic taste from the belly of hell.
So I was skeptical about the vivi nova tank from the start.
But I got one, and with in a matter of minutes my fears were realized.
Same issues as the stardust things...no flavor and satan taste. (yes I was doing the tippy tippy thing)
But on Monday I picked up some of the new short nubby wicked 2.8 replacement atomizer heads for the vivi and ....WOW! I am shocked to say the least!
I have been putting these things threw the paces!
I have ran through about 6 tanks of juice so far, at various voltages, upwards of 5.5volts, and even one tank of boba's bounty which is stupid thick, (and stupid tasty) and these things have been vaping like a freaking freight train!
I am kind of impressed... I will keep on heavy vaping on these things and see what happens...they might kind of be a win...I might kind of buy all of the replacement heads on the internets in fear they will discontinue them or change them.

Wow. Hope when mine comes its gonna be as good! On ce4 now. Previously using cartos on tanks but although everyone seems to say cartos are better, i kinda find them taste real muted. However, surprisingly with everyone saying ce4 has so many problems, i find them producing a much flavourful vape. Just the lack of warm vapour.

Also, this batch of ce4s hasnt cracked a bit since. :D

I also find the short wicks to work better. However, I have "fluffed" up some of the longer wicks and they seemed to work well.

I loved the the Vivi Nova so much, I bought the company..., no wait, that's not right. Oh yeah, I bought 3 more! :D

I've been using mine for a couple days now and I like it. I was getting tired of tasting filler in the boges after a couple days. I've got to say that the vape isn't as good as a fresh boge on day one... the vape is a little "thinner" compared to the boge.. the boge (to me) gives a denser, fuller vapes. with 70/30 mix, I'm getting lots of vapor and the flavor is good so far. I look at it as a poor man's rebuildable LOL. I got mine at madvapes when it was on sale for $12.99 and it's definately worth the money! It has the really long wicks and I'm seeing the vent hole in the connection. I'm also seeing that my vivi nova needs fine tuning.. there is a big difference in 4v and 4.2v. It's like a fine line between a great vape and a vape that gives a hint of "burnt". It would be hard (for me) to use this on a device that doesn't have a button and led display or a non-vv device. I'm finding that it is better at lower voltages rather than higher. I think I'll try rewicking with cotton (just because I think I can)

I am having no trouble with wicking, I don't mind giving it a roll every now and then to get good flavor. My best vape, with the best flavor is definately using a 901 (with drip shield) on my VV Reo.

All in all I'm thrilled with the vivi nova I purchased and I'm looking forward to playing with it (rewicking). It's different vape than bottom feeding and carto tanks. It's not something that has blown my mind and has me thinking "wow! this is all I'm going to use from now on!" ... but it's something that I will include in my vaping hobby. :)

I'm also eyeing the DID. I'll play with this for awhile and keep watching the DID and see what happens with it.

The V2.5 tank is definitely a winner. I have 6 of them and it's all I use. Good thing is the v2.5 heads work in the older versions of the tank, which came with faulty heads.
I rewicked one of mine at 2.4 ohms with wick and made a massive thick wick, 4 strands I think and that thing holds up to 4.6v without signs of burn. I have some cotten, gonna try that next also.
