Where are you guys getting ur vivi novas from? Is it possible they are knock off versions?

Mine was the real deal, in the box, 3 heads, the whole deal.

I never tried to re-wick them, just used the stock heads. None of them read the resistance they were supposed to be when installed and checked with the ProVari.

Neither did mine, they were always off a little bit.

Just don't get it ... I've got 5 novas here..cartos, cartos in tanks and a rebuildable on the way

I have never got the "muted" flavor or lack of vapor production..with any of them, minis, regulars, stock heads..different ohms.. - asked Pbusardo about this and he said the Nova gave him one of the most enjoyable vapes he has had including flavor, throat hit and vapor production...

I find they can be a little fiddly .. but no more than most anything else and when it comes to cartos in tanks - some are good, some not so much.. alot like what you hear about Novas and anything else really with the exception of RBAs which seem to be universally good but also is dependent on your mindset..

I think it just comes down to personal preference frankly... if your willing to work with a piece of equipment and figure out it's idiosyncrycies..it will probably work for you ... if not .. you just move on ... but I am not buying that it is a common performance issue.. in some cases yes.. due to product defect .. but outside of that .. just whatever you dig

Same here, well only exception was when I got a version 1 originally, fogettaboutit. Since I got the 2.5 they have been very pleasant. Like experiencing a cool fall breeze and at the same moment you smell something nice like some people playing with a hacky sack sprayed with CK1.

ok so after reading this and the rest of the thread.. i dont feel like its user error  i got a vision vivi from madvapes, v2.5. All the heads i had produced good vapor but i could get about 1 or 2 good vapes after swishing it around. Then just burnt. i have been rebuilding my A7 for a while so thought "hey i'll just rebuild it" made the coils real tight, made the coils loose... still burnt taste. I slap my tank back on with a boge carto and all is right again with the world.

Had high hopes for the nova and gotta say im sad that i put off buying one for so long to then ended up not liking it..

I have 3 mini vivi's and they're the best..I really can't see how certain people have issues then certain people love them..I order mine from the same place so maybe they just have good ones? lol..never a dry hit, great TH and flavour, really easy to use..I do agree the heads are never the impedance that is written..I get 2.4-2.9 ohm no matter what..was going to rebuild them soon but the heads last so damn long..another thing is I find they use more juice than cartos and dripping..i'm going to order another vivi or 2 because I have found nothing that is as good as them yet..I throw one in on every order..
