This is the formula for killing the vaping industry in a state. Create legislation with requirements that are impossible to meet. Oh and exempt the tobacco industry vape products from these requirements. Boom, instantly transfer the vape industry in Indiana to BT then tax the crap out of those BT vape products as tobacco products and no one complains because everyone hates BT. Watch the money come rolling in to fill the state coffers.

This bill sounds like BS. All you need to do is mix flavoring, nicotine and a base liquid. They're treating this like a food facility or even worse.
Their treating it as if they are extracting radioactive isotopes.
Don't get any on you.

The clean room requirements for small scale mixing are a joke. The organisms that cause spoilage can't live in e liquid ingredients. My mixing at home is safer than cooking at home. The high security requirements are also silly. Stolen e liquid ingredients aren't marketable so not worth stealing. In the long run DIY will be the norm. I think the e liquid companies will have their day and mostly disappear. I think most of the walk in vape busnesses will be absorbed by traditional tobacco shops until they disappear too. Then it will be mail order or Walmart.

Government tobacco control exists to collect taxes. We are going to make them irreleent. E-cigs give us tobacco control.

In the long run DIY will be the norm.
People like convenience and most won't do more work than they have to. For evidence, look at how much shelf space in a typical grocery store is dedicated to pre-made or otherwise pre-processed foods. Sure, you can buy everything you need to bake a loaf of bread yourself, but most people choose not to. The ones who do are "enthusiasts", very similar to the vapers who hang out here.

E-cigs themselves don't do that, and neither do DIY skills, but a freezer full of nic would go a long way toward that goal for an individual. Unfortunately, I fear those of us who've made those preps are a very small fraction of vapers.
