I'm not expert, but did you try to lower the base where the post are screwed into? You can do that by rotating it counterclockwise, that will create a well deep enough to retain some liquid and keep it lower than the air hole.

I just had to remove my A7 from the Grand because, I don't know how, the thread on the 510 connection doesn't screw into the reo's, it keeps turning freely 8)

Hope you can get that fixed, I'm waiting for my RM2

It would be good for you to take a look at this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/401265-dealing-a7.html

I still use A7's on some of my REO's. I use a 510/510 adapter set up by Robert with them. I found the center post is problem prone and the adapter keeps it away from my REO!

I don't have any problems with them leaking juice. I always blind squonk with them. Draw while sqonking before firing.

They are a good atty, but a hassle compared to the RM2. I really want mine gone and just have the RM2's.

Order a new spring from Rob now, you'll be needing it if you use an A7. If your REO came with the A7 make sure your spring hasn't been stretched after a previous short - it only works once.

Having an extra spring is always a good idea, but I have several A7's and they are fine.

You flooded it, it is over squonked. Unlike the RM2, there is no way for the juice to run back down into the bottle. This is both a blessing and a curse. I like fresh juice, so it hitting my wick then running back in "fouls" my juice on the RM2, but on the A7 it does flood if you over do it.

I use them both daily ;)
