This question should probably be in another section but I can only post here. I thought I saw somewhere that someone made a battery mod that used AA rechargeable batteries. I am a photographer and have lots of Eneloop AA batteries. Most of what I see use proprietary rechargeable batteries.

I would like to have one to use with my 510 atomizers, maybe this doesn't work because of the voltage. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Madvapes has the stuff you need. I made a nice box from there in 20 minutes. The longest time being just figuring out where I wanted the button for sure.
I am now waiting on the mail with more goodies to make more. Just the average AA batteries we get at the store are not 3.7 volt and don`t work. So you need batteries charger etc. Madvapes have them all. And directions are on there as well. :)

The batteries I`ve been using and seem to last pretty well are TrustFire 14500 900mAh 3.7 Li-ion. There may be better batteries out there and I`m not sure we got those at madvapes but I do see they do sell them. Hope this helps.

The battery mods for sale don't use propietary batteries. They're li-po batteries. Different battery mods use different sized batteries. I've only been vaping for a week and after using my passthrough I'm on a quest to build my own mod. I too ordered my parts and batteries from MadVapes and I'm awaiting their arrival.

As for your AA's, I'm assuming they're 1.2 volts. 3 of them should give the 3.6 volts needed, it's just a matter of if they have enough "kick" to power the atty. Give em a shot, I would.
