I'm going to get a VV/VW for travel, at least for the time being. I'm considering an iLeaf istick 50 with Subtank Mini. Things that I like about it: Ease of use for car vaping, easy to charge anywhere, long battery life, pretty cheap.

I currently use a tube mod with a derringer, and a reo with a reomizer (though I do have a BF derringer on the way).

Are there any other VV/VW mods I should consider? I really do enjoy my mechs because they're dead simple and robust, and while I'll be bringing at least one of them with me, I think the istick will be used more frequently on my upcoming trips.

The Vapor Flask looks pretty sick, but it's also a good bit larger than the iStick, not to mention 6x the cost.

I'd love some other suggestions, as I'm not completely sold on the iStick.

If I hadn't already bought two iStick50's, I'd be strongly considering an XPro M80... very similar specs and pricing to the iStick50, but more power, and there are no reports that I know of (yet) of any paranormal auto-firing. :D

Yes, there are. And fiires and meltdowns. Take a good look before you buy one. That's one I'm avoiding.

I use Regulated Mods quite often and have since the Y.J. Lava tubes came out. I also have several(to many) Mechs.

Some mechanical Mods are even easier to use while driving - smaller, simpler and drop it if necessary.
Battery life - Dependent on actual Mah available and load on the Battery

When hitting the Road, or running to the store - Backups are a good idea.
Regulated or Mech - Charge vs. Swap and go - Swap is a winner. No waiting.

You make a good point. I'll definitely be bringing at least one of my mechs with me, I'd just like something that's convenient to charge while traveling, and that has a battery that I can use pretty heavily for a day or so before it needs to be charged.

Also looking for an excuse to buy a regulated mod, haha
