About a week in and I'm definitely NOT looking back...

I had purchased an e-cig and had my doubts about it.
I have a KR808 and CE-2 Clearomizers. Despite some complaints about both the atty and the carts I love 'em both.

I'm 26 and have only been smoking for 13 years. This seems like only a day or two compared to most people's stories of thirty plus years. The problem is is that I was smoking three large packs (here in Canada large packs have 25 cigarettes) a day when I was only 19.
After trying to quit and failing many of times like many of us do I had purchased an e-cigarette.
I thought it would be painful like the patch, gum, and cold turkey was.
To be honest, I haven't had many cravings. I was a little drunk and smoked two cigarettes after being smoke free for three days. The next morning I woke up coughing. I brushed my teeth more than a few times but the ashtray taste lingered.
I'm honestly done with analog cigarettes. I'm surprised how easy all of this has been considering I was skeptical about the e-cig.

It's amazing how easy all of this was!

We smoked for 30 plus years until picking up an e-cig a few months ago and I agree 100% on how easy it was to quit. My wife and I tried countless times with all the other methods, some multipul times. We still have an unopened pack of analogs that we bought as a just in case. That pack would have been long gone if we had tried anything else.

Thanks everyone. :)
Nothing was as effective. Even tonight I'm intoxicated and don't even want a cigarette even though those around me smoke.
I can't stand the "third hand" smoke on people. Just that smell stinks to Hell and back.

I don't know what my juice preferences are yet. I have an all PG juice that's Irish Cream flavour and it's helped me thus far.
I may attempt to try PG/VG blends as well.
As for now, I know I like the flavour of the PG and everyone says that VG is thicker and doesn't really hold a flavour as well either.

One day I may move onto a 510 as well. Who knows. I do enjoy the ease of the KR808 though.

I know that I will be picking up more attys as one is not enough and I hate having to recharge. That could be the only thing to push me back to analogs.

You're on a fun fulfilling road. As time goes on you'll only be feeling better and smug with the fact you've finally been able to give it up. You have every right to feel proud and don't be afraid to treat yourself when you hit milestones like being a month, 3 months, smoke free! Keep on vaping!

Welcome to ecf and congrats on making the switch....please,please pick up some more batteries.....so you will always have one ready to go while the other charges. This is one of the biggest mistakes newbies make when starting out. The cost of the battery is much cheaper than going out for that pack of smokes.
I mostly do a mix of 50/50 pg/vg. Get more vapor with same flavor. the best of both so to speak.....

Glad you found us and great job....

Yes yes more batteries! I'm surprised a KR is doing it for you being a 3 PAD person. I had to go to 5 volts to get what I needed. Good luck and keep at it!

Congrats on kicking the 3ppd especially at $13 a pack. I would def. get another battery as well. When I started out I had 2 batteries for my first PV (the safe cig, ugh!), then my Blu which I have 4 batteries for (haven't used that once since I got my eGo-T), and now I have 2 650mah batteries for my eGo-T that last at least 6 hours of heavy vaping a piece! I am debating if I should get a 900mah or 1000mah eGo-T battery right now as my 3rd battery for it!

Thanks once again, everyone. :)

Yeah, the one battery lasts as I keep a charger with me at all times.
I'm debating whether to buy another couple KR808 attys or switch it up with a couple 510s.
I might do that after once 808 carts kick the bucket.

I've been lurking these forums since I started and have learned quite a bit. Eventually I wanna try making my own juice mixes.

Gonna eventually test out a PG and VG blend as opposed to straight PG as well.

These things not only smell but also TASTE better.

Congrats on making the switch!! I'm quite new to this too, getting to my first month smoke free soon!! I strongly suggest you get spare batteries as well, sometimes the battery can just die with no warning and that is a bad thing if you are still fighting the nicotine habit.
