I have a question:

Is all the rave about the 510 due to the manual switch battery or its atty?

I hear there is now a manual switch 901 batt, so I am curious if it's the manual batt or the atty that makes the 510 so great?

Any feedback would be appreciated :)
STILLSMOK9...Actually it's both. The switch provides a longer hit without the cut-off...and the atomizer heats higher to prevent carbon build up and better throat hit.I have done no cleaning or blowing out on the same 510 atomizer that I have been using for over two months now,and it still works as good as the day I first used it.The only drawback on the battery is the short amount of usage before a charge is needed!Best advise is to have a PCC handy and several spares on hand!:)The Wiz!

Yes, the taste is better on the 901 for sure, definitely. However, the manual 510 is a little work horse, I will have to say that and it's been quite reliable for out and about. I'm still on the original atty a month now, but I don't vape on it 24/7 at home, I use other stuff. It's my out and about e cig. Here's how I work it. The PCC only charges up to 4 times I believe before having to charge it again. I don't have a PCC, I just bring my 3000 mAh power pack with me and I have a tiny little usb charger and I just have battys charging all day long while I'm out and about. The best little usb charger is an all in one and it's tiny and you get them from innovaper. Works like a charm, but you have to watch that little screw in the middle cuz it can come loose so you want to check and tighten it with like sunglass tools occasionally.

I'm vaping coffee flavor on my 510 right now. My 801 is charging because I already chain vaped it out today and my 901 is going to be here tomorrow, a pink one no less! lol I had a little problem with my first two attys on my 801 but it's doing beautiful now. Will have to buy some of the manual batts for the 901 when I can find them...... Anyway, I love all of them that I have and am going to be glued to the porch and attack the postman for my 901 tomorrow afternoon!

I can't figure WTF is going on here lately. The Technical forum is loaded with 510, 901, and 801 problems. What's happening here???????

I have the manual 510, RN4081, M401, 901, and 801, & I'm not having problems with *any* of them. They're all hitting, and steaming.

I'm puzzled too. My manual 510's have been performing flawlessly, steamin' like there's no tomorrow.

You know same here. I have only had one atty fizzle on me and that was basically a DOA that I got reimbursed. Other than that I have every atomizer I have ever bought. Personally I think there is almost too much information on this forum and people who should be learning how to use these things get all wrapped up in crazy cleaning and modding techniques.

To the OP, it won't be popular but I think 90% of the 510 is the ease of the manual button. I don't even use my 510 atomizers anymore, but even though the constant charging drives me crazy I can't get away from the manual batteries (with a 306 atty). Of course I am a radical exposed atomizer proponent so take that into account. I do think it will be interesting to see what happens when the 901 and the EVO manuals get into the picture as well as the higher capacity 510 batteries. Personally if i where a big 901 fan I would be first in line to see how the manuals effect performance. After all alot of the button mod folks like their 901 atomizers.

The 510 has perfect balance. Great atty, great cart, great battery, and although I own many different models, the 510 remains a solid #1.

Love you! Agree about the 501 to be solid. (Of course, manual battery)Top of the line for the tube types.

But, (my tried and true) Screwdriver is still the very top for me.

My poor Janty stick, is on the shelf and awaiting a 501 adapter. The atty that came with it got so black and cruddy and gunked up after jusrt 2 weeks. It also had a bad taste and smell too. (Not into cleaning.) I typically toss attys at two weeks anyway, but never had one so nasty before, at just 2 weeks. (stopped me from buying any more parts for it till the 501 adapter is available.) Oh, I hope it makes a difference. Or, if not, it will be up for sale.
