the 510 is the best iv tried so far' i always have a fresh battery ready to go. i have 3 batteries and a pcc and a usb so im al set. I retired my 901 long ago because the attys died so quickly, the 801 I dont use either because the cartridge material needed to be pilled up all the time. The mini pipe is ok but not enough vapor i dont use it much. this seemsto be themost durable and great throat hit tons of vapor but you really do need several batteries and a pcc I dont want to spend the money on a screwdriver just yet but that may be my next purchase. i am as addicted to the equipment as I am to the nicotine

Deadcat.....This is a personal observation based on my personal use of 3 different atomizers(510,801 and 901),and also based on posts I have read on members carts actually melting within the atomizer itself.Hope this clears things up!:)The Wiz!
Were you using all these atomizers in a mod, and comparing them on a level playing field? Or is your observation based on the 510 atomizer with manual batteries versus the 801 and 901 atomizers with automatic batteries?

Thanks again for your opinions on this matter.
:)

Love my 510, first atty still going strong after over a month of almost constant use. When it starts getting a little less vapor, i stick 5v to it and its back in business after two 5v drags. Bought 5 complete cigs based on lifecycle comments Id read, and havent had to swap out parts yet. Using the pyramid tea bags as filler improved it even more for me. Instead of getting 3-5 awesome hits on a new cart, im getting great hits for the entire cart, with little rest between drags. PCC a must.

i have a 510 i got about 2 weeks ago with a PCC and i love it...its my first ecig and its doing well at getting me from 2 packs of Camel Lights a day to a pack every 3-4 days but i have a q...do you all use multiple attys throughout the day or week or just use one always until it dies then pull out another?

oh and i thought id be annoyed with the manual button but it seems to be placed in a good spot for me to make it not really noticeable

Some alternate and clean every few days - I do twice a week. Some don't clean, and whichever really extends the life of an atty is undetermined, really. Cleaned attys have died early and so have ones that haven't been cleaned. Other cleaned attys have lasted @6 months from a few reports.

Here's what a gunky coil looks like:

check out the 2nd picture down.

So you'll have to decide what's best for you. You could clean one and not clean another one and see what happens.
