I find that the 510 has a little stronger vape than the 901. But I think the 901 is better all around for battery life.
I am hoping all the hype around the 510 is right. I have a starter kit shipping today from Innovapor. I have read many good recommendations and chose it due to them. I will follow up next week with my results

As usual, I agree 100% with the Wiz. Manual switch is WWAAAYYY better than automatics. Atomizer is great, too. Battery charge life sucks.
What I don't understand is the dyslexia epidemic that is going around with the 510. Why is it so hard for people to see that it's not 501? Is it because of the 801s and 901s? It seems a huge number of people on this forum (even owners of the 510 themselves) can't seem to get this straight. I know I'm nitpicking, but it's really starting to get to me like when Bush always used to say "Nuke-u-lar" even when he knew it was wrong.
Can I get one of those in black with a blue tip? My only concern is it looks like it weighs as much as I do!![]()

Love you! Agree about the 501 to be solid. (Of course, manual battery)Top of the line for the tube types.
But, (my tried and true) Screwdriver is still the very top for me.
My poor Janty stick, is on the shelf and awaiting a 501 adapter. The atty that came with it got so black and cruddy and gunked up after jusrt 2 weeks. It also had a bad taste and smell too. (Not into cleaning.) I typically toss attys at two weeks anyway, but never had one so nasty before, at just 2 weeks. (stopped me from buying any more parts for it till the 501 adapter is available.) Oh, I hope it makes a difference. Or, if not, it will be up for sale.
Yes. Most of them are black with blue tip. They weigh the same as automatic batteries. They also look identical except for the button. I'm not sure what you're looking at, but I'm guessing it's one of the mods (prodigy, gg, adaptever, SD) because looking at a 510 manual battery next to 510 automatic battery I can't see what would make you think it looks heavy.
Thanks for the reply Applejackson but I was actually replying to an earlier post by someone else. Sorry!
I do agree with you, though. But, why would you think that posters that can't grasp spelling, grammar, paragraphs, etc., would be able to get model numbers straight?
Note: I live in a glass house so I shouldn't be throwing stones about grammar and stuff!!! And by the way, Ms. Agnes can spell, transpose or whatever she likes, as far as I'm concerned!![]()
'Chat with other users. Discuss the different types of e-cigarettes. Swap stories about using them and other people's'I can't figure WTF is going on here lately. The Technical forum is loaded with 510, 901, and 801 problems. What's happening here???????
I have the manual 510, RN4081, M401, 901, and 801, & I'm not having problems with *any* of them. They're all hitting, and steaming.
Yeah, just ordered me a nurther one ;-)I always love the reaction of vapers when they finally get their first 510. Terraphon's video is a prime example. They look at it, and say WOW! Their next response is usually WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?![]()

Jim, this is what it says about this area of the ECF. Please explain to me how my OP is not aligned with these criteria's?
Thanks
No problem Jim! You know how it goes when we rely on our fingers instead of our mouths to speak ;-)Your criteria is aligned perfectly. I wasn't intending to derail the thread. It was just my opinion about the 510. I have a 510 too, and have more batts, and attys coming as we speak. Good little cig, for the most part, but it amazes me how many people are complaining about problems with it.
Sorry if I gave ya the wrong Idea, Buddy.
Cheers;

Deadcat.....This is a personal observation based on my personal use of 3 different atomizers(510,801 and 901),and also based on posts I have read on members carts actually melting within the atomizer itself.Hope this clears things up!Not trying to be a jerk, but is this confirmed or just your observational opinion?
It is a very important question to me, so I need to ask.
Yosam.....I think you will be pleased with the results the 510 will give you...look forward to hearing your follow up!I am hoping all the hype around the 510 is right. Jim.....What complaints are you hearing on the 510? My only complaint would be short battery use before re-charging...and not having enough spare batteries(which I am in the process of correcting).Other than that, this may well be the best pv I have used since I started vaping 6 months ago.Your criteria is aligned perfectly.
