At the year 2014 or something was my first time vaping and I remember the juices used to be very different....no matter what flavour it was I remember it used to have a kinda "chemical" taste or like a drug u get from pharmacy I mean....this year I bought a zlide coolfire z50 kit and started vaping again and the store gave me 3 bottles of juices as a gift to start...50/50 juices 12mg nic and it was supposed to be tobacco flavours but not net ofc....the thing is that those juices used to have that same wierd taste like the old juices I used to vape....my old juices used to be the best brand I could get in my country those days I don't remember tho....this time the gift juices I got was some omnia brand that is a brand made in my country so after vape them a bit and remember that bad taste I decided I will go and buy the "best" juices I can get in my country for local stores....since then never felt the same bad flavour from ready to vape juices or when I diy juices and always try buy known good brand or at least some local known brands from the big vape stores here....my question is....does anyone ever felt the same with some juices??? What was that thing that made some juices taste and smell like chemical or drug or something????just curious

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i have had this chemical taste before with store bought juice like smacuser said you should let them breathe for a while and see if that makes the chemical taste go away it's a good idea i hope that maybe someday you will diy your own juice it is much cheaper but i understand if you dont because not everyone wants to do that and its just not for everyone much like some people would never drive a stick shift when they can just drive an automatic i mean yeah its much easier so how can you blame them ok bad analogy but you get the point and seriously im just typing as much as i can here just to give you a taste of the same medicine you gave to us and if that means i just have to write gibberish so be it i dont mind a wall of text with no punctuation is very hard to read and puts a lot of people off which means you may not get all the answers you could get if you use punctuation and paragraphs they do not have to be proper just have to give people breaks so they can read your text easier and they could also miss things inside that wall of text which means you get answers that arent really answers but in the end its your fault because you did not take the collective few seconds it takes to give people something that is easy on the eyes and brain to read i mean could you imagine if everything like magazines books websites and such were all written with no paragraphs and punctuation holy cow that would be just crazy and i suspect most of the world would be totally illiterate because reading would be such a chore thanks for your understanding and this post was not meant to berate you just to be funny so laugh as I am laughing as i type this wall of text

thanks for reading

But seriously, not only take the cap off for a while, but also every so often when you think about it, shake the bottle (you'll need to put the cap back on for this ;) then take the cap back off).

I haven't seen any juice that has that smell or taste anymore since I buy mostly world known brands or just local good brands...

ATM I diy juice anyways and I don't think I will ever stop it's cheaper and u have control of the flavour percentage cause u don't like much flavour soooooo....all good

I was just curious af as to why :p ty

When I first quit, I couldn't taste anything. Maybe peppermint or spearmint. Anyway, cigs burned my tastebuds.

Newly made juices are not mixed, we vapor people call it "steeping" so that the flavors meld into a blended version of the flavors, nic and base PG & VG. I used to buy my juices ahead of time in needing them. I took the lid off, shook them every day and kept them in a dark drawer for 3-4 weeks.

After my tastebuds came back FULLY, and the juice was steeped, flavors were accurate. Whether I liked them or not was a different story.

I started doing DIY after about a year. So much cheaper once I got the initial supplies. I think my cost per ML is 15 cents.

Good Luck!

way back in the day, most juice was heavy PG too. maybe that helped contribute to juices having that dirty off taste. Also, much of the off taste is the nicotine itself. We used to vape 18mg, 12mg back in the day. More modern juices typically have 3mg, or 6mg, because most modern devices utilize sub ohm coils or they're regulated up to 50, 150, 200, 750 watts. It's also typical now, that you're going to have no choice but to buy a juice that was made by a company that grew in popularity organically, and made it into those smoke shop & gas station inventory books for a reason, because they're tried and true. Back in the day, you had a lot of chinese juices in gas stations and smoke shops & they were there because their bulk price was cheap. Of course, Dekang was pretty good but, it couldn't compete with gas station juices of today.
