First of all when this happens it makes a dry hit look like a walk in the park. I rebuilt my rba coil for the uwell crown tank with 26 gauge titanium and the build looked good wicked it put on ohm reader came out to .34 and put on vaporshark DNA 200. I turned settings down to break in coil and on the first drag it made this insane sound and light/fire came out of the afc. I've been vaping well over a year and I'm pretty good at building, all of my friends want me to build there coils since they are sloppy so I thought maybe this was a piece of wire touching the side ending in a short. I looked at the build and the coil just fell out, the leads were still held in but they had melted pretty much on negative and positive side. Like I said worst taste and feeling ever. I was a little worried but decided it can't happen twice and built a SS coil in the same rba and tank. This time I made sure there was no chance of the wire touching the side of the coil and I didn't just take a drag the first time. I set it at 20 watts at 380 with a SS tcr curve and it sounded like it was a 100 watts with that same distinct smell coming from the tank. I knew it wasn't my build so I inspected the 510 and with the rba section the positive pin doesn't poke out like at all. It's almost recessed in but with the stock coils it works fine and the pin is pushed out a tiny bit. And come to think of it on my hcigar vt200 it won't let me vape on it, it says check atty and I thought the hcigar was screwing up. Does this make sense that the pin is causing some short. Sorry for the ramble fest I just wanted to make sure my thought process made sense. Thanks for the help.
