About to pick up a Reo Grand :)

Hello all,

After some praise on the device from a family member and friend I am about to pull the trigger on a purchase for one of these bad boys.

I have an important question though that has come up during my research.

I was not really able to find a clear enough answer for this so I figured I would ask:

When ordering a new Reo Grand will the new sub ohm kits be installed on these new models already? Or will I have to wait until they become available before running any sub ohm coil builds?
Also if no, what is the lowest ohm coil build I can make that is safe for this mod?

I believe that If you order now it will include to SO kit.

.7 is safe with the standard contacts but that's no longer a worry if you buy a mod from this point forward.

As far as I know the mods currently have upgraded firing pins and buttons installed but not springs.

Pretty sure Rob said more springs will be available this Wed.


ETA:

Sub ohm kits will be back in stock on Wednesday .
All the mods on the site will have the new contacts as well

I was 2 weeks too early on the SO kit pre-installed. I've been procrastinating far too long on my 1st REO tho. I received mine 2 weeks ago, this Wed. It's a great thing. You'll be happy. You'll get the upgrade installed, too.

With the new Reo you limiting factor will be safe operation within the specs of the batteries you'll be using. Make sure you understand the relationship between ohms and amp draw. Then make sure you're not pulling more than 70 to 80 percent of the batteries max continuous amp draw.

So.........based off of this, safe to assume springs have come in and Rob is now working to put the full SO kit into inventory mods?
