Really good info to help me choose I don't mind the "airyness" of MutX so it sounds like RM4 is probably what I should be looking at. I am a lung inhaler, every once in awhile I will mouth to lung but not much.

I'd say if you like .5 ohm dual coil builds and lung inhales...RM5 all the way, that's the one I have and it's beautiful. Very airy, still has good flavor, large deck to build on. If it's a little too airy just adjust the ring on it. I like it cause it has Allen screws and horizontal slots for the air holes, plus it has horizontal slots on all three posts so you can use larger gauge wire if you wanted too. I've put 24 gauge in mine and I'm sure I could still run something larger like 22 if I wanted to. I also was able to make a double parallel 24 gauge coil on it with no problem getting the wires through the slots in the posts.

Congratulations, you have made a wise purchase ! Welcome to REOVille. It sounds as though you did your homework and made the right selection. In time you may ask yourself "How did Rob come up with such a great little device ?". The answer is simple- The only thing that compares to The Quality of a Reos is the Customer Service Rob practices. Each modification is born of concerns for is Customer's needs.
You will NOT be disappointed around here.

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone glad to be a part of another good group of folks. And seems like in the short month I have been vaping I have found my way to some really great companies. Between Reos' equipment and Nicoticket's juice I will be having a vaping-good time here very shortly, I even built a few new coils last night in preparation for the arrival of my Reos. I had never made a twisted coil but am pretty impressed with it's performance can't wait to throw a few of them in the Reos and let 'er rip.

Heh - I suspected you were a MMORPG man. I used to make my living running MUD's and such. I can sense the type :)

Haha you nailed it, I will pick up the occasional shooter but I <3 my MMORPG's. :D Well except for Assassin's Creed the one game I would choose if I could only play one game for the rest of my life. Been hooked since the first one, can't wait for the two new ones.

Hi!

Not that you need this info right now since goodness has already been ordered, but in case you are wondering... here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...hysical-comparison-chart-rm2-rm3-rm4-rm5.html

If you have questions about modding an existing atty for bottom feeding go visit these guys: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-supplier-forum/581604-catfish-atty-mods.html You may find out if it's already been done, can you do it yourself, or if Chowder is willing to do it for you.

Thanks for the info I appreciate it.

Also, does anyone know if the Xtar VTC4's will fit in a Reos? They just barely fit in my StingrayX.

Wicked game, Assassin's is. Groundbreaking at the time for it's shading and world detail on the then-next gen boxes.

This was already covered here... somewhere... in the last week or so. Got someone to measure and the Xtar version is only a half millimeter longer than a VTC4 and will fit just fine. You won't be cramming those puppies in a Reo - still plenty of room for a spring collapse if that should need to happen.

About that: If you decide to build right on the Reo best practice is to pull the battery so you don't accidentally hit the fire button while building and short an incomplete build. (Been known to happen... lol)

Sweet glad to know they will fit. Thanks for the heads up on the switch, I usually build on my meter that way I can test it as soon as I clip the legs. Then switch over to the power source to heat and readjust, then recheck on the meter. I know that's a lot of back and forth but better that than blow my hand/face off trying to get a good vape I think that might fall out of the realm of harm reduction. :D

Lol

Me too. I just like that flat stable surface of my ohm checker to build on but some folks do build on their Reo.

About that question of how low can you go? You are pushing things when you get down to the 0.25 ohm range where the spring might sag under the stress, depending on how long the hits are you take off it. You won't really hurt your Reo, but that's about the practical limit of how low you can push it.

Found it! Here, with pictures even.=> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/614920-xtar-18650-room-collapse.html

I'll be well above that, my comfort range so far has been between .6-.9 ohm's I may try .5/.4 one day for kicks but for the juice I vape mostly I don't know if that's even necessary. I just made a .7 twisted 28 ga. a few minutes ago and it's just about right, nice warm vape and good flavor. I haven't needed to rebuild really but I get bored and just do it for the heck of it, it's just so fun. :D

Well that and I just got a roll of 100' - 28 ga. kanthal and I couldn't just let it sit there all night.
