Welcome to the Ville!

If you want the SO kit you should wait until next week when the rest of the springs should arrive.

Also If you want to run dual coil atties you should grab an LP Grand as it will give you more options for toppers.

As for atties, the AFC cyclops/cyclone is pretty well regarded. With a LP Reo you should be able to use whatever atty you like.

A dual coil on a normal reo RDA is totally different than a dual coil on a normal larger rda. A lot of people use stacked coils with one air hole. I found this experience lacking in comparison to a traditional dual coil where each coil has its' own air hole.

I did pick up a VVG and with a 2.6 ohm 32 awg coil it actually beats my other set-up I had been running which was an ERA with stacked duals at .55 ohms with a single 1/16 hole. BUT, that was on a grand without the SO kit installed. I never tested voltage under load on that set-up. I probably should of before I tore it apart. Personally, I didn't think a dual coil on the rm2/era was worth it. I could probably whip up a higher ohm coil and have the exact same experience.

Your mileage WILL vary. Because I don't have the SO kit. But if you were to pick up a LP grand, the possibilities would be endless. If you search there are a few great threads in here that explain how to convert a standard dripper to a bottom-fed dripper. They all seem painless and easy. I'd have to mill down my grand or use a 510-510 extension to even use them though. And I'm not about to bring a grand out in public with a nipple sticking out the catch-cup.

I think the RM2 is going to be the easiest to build duals on. If you decide you don't like duals you can still get a great vape out of it with a single coil. Before I had my reo I was running quad-twisted 32 dual coils. And I'm just fine with a single now. Plus, if you really don't like the RM2, you can sell it on the classies to re-coup most of the money for it, then buy a $10 dripper convert it to bottom-feed and be happy.

The Cyclone + AFC cap is great dual coil RDA. Or you can mod your favorite by drilling or cutting a channel in the center pin.

This but the cyclone has a learning curve i wouldnt say its high but it is very different from a normal atomizer if it's not built right the flavor is muted or you might not get any at all

I literally just bought a cyclone earlier today. Is there a thread on this? I know a skilled... coilsmith? lol idk what the terminology would be, but no flavor? what gives?

Lol I'm talking about the afc cap I'm not sure but I had to fiddle with mine for a while to figure out what worked and what didn't I know a couple other guys on here had trouble with it too. Part of it is from how the coils sit since the air holes are not opposite of each other if you use the normal cap it should be like a rm2

FB nailed it, you should get the LP REO Grand SO (Low Profile, Sub Ohm) + Cyclone BF AFC (bottom feed and air flow control). That is a pretty unbeatable combo for dual coils. If you are a lung hitter VA also makes an awesome driptip called the 'Chaplin'

Personally I never saw much gain from dual coils so I haven't messed with them much. If you do get the LP Grand other great atomizers for single coils are the LP RM2 (Extremely easy to build on, Brass) and the Igo-BF (very similar but smaller than the cyclone, Stainless Steel) that rob sells on his site. They are great for single coils.

Thanks DT, the plan is to wait for the SO kit next week. And I looked at the LP and I'm not sure which direction to go yet. I am big on the catch/overflow on the Grand and would give that up by going to the LP.

Not a lung hitter and I am not chasing clouds, it's all about the flavor! Mothers Milk and Bryce's Custard are insane on dual coil low ohms and the REO is the perfect setup for extended vaping on a couple juices I am completely addicted to and 3 or 6 ML’s can fill that addiction. It’s more about options, flavor and the 3/6 ML’s of juice in a much smaller mod. A KFL or 91 give me the same benefits but are a little bit of a hassle carrying around at the office.

The catch cup was designed for using cartos that had the air intake on the bottom. Because of this juice would need the catch cup. With any rebuildable with the air hole on the side you actually put an o-ring at the bottom connection so no juice leaks at all, making the catch cup rather pointless.

I have found, along with others on here, that a smaller chamber RBA actually gives better flavor. Also, If you are about flavor check out Mundy's Magic Wire

Do you feel like you are limited by your choices for a good RDA?

I read the post for available RDA's that are bottom feed, side air and nothing was in stock and it seems like choices are somewhat limited. Single coil works as well as duel coil so that is not a conern for me but most drippers don't seem to have any wells on their decks.

I don't want to modify the pin on an RDA, I'm looking for a good factory setup. The plan is to may this my ADPV and I want to get it right.

The Reomizer or the Igo-s that Rob sells are both great RDAs. the Reomizer or RM2 is very easy to build on and the performance is hard to beat even if you spend a lot more. Now that we don't need to chase the perfect mod many of us spend time chasing hard to get RDAs or modifying others just for something to do.

Oh and with a bottom feed you don't need wells or want them. Press the bottle and fresh juice is delivered to the coil and the excess goes back in the bottle.

Makes sense but don't you get leaking around the edges with no well to hold the juice? Are the O rings really that good?

And I understand what you are saying and that is why the REO is so appealing, I want to fill the bottle and vape.

I know it's a matter of personal preference but do you use the 3 ML or 6 ML bottle for just normal day.
