i was just in albuquerque visiting family. i happened upon a small brick and mortar shop called Vapor Space. i talked to the guy there and mentioned how i can never get a real absinthe flavor anywhere, and that they are all approximations, using licorice and other flavors. he boasted he could make a real tasting one. boy, did he put his money where his mouth was.
his absinthe flavor is dead on. it tasted like Kubler Absinthe, which is wormwood forward, in my opinion. all the right notes were there. it even numbed my tongue after about 3 pulls or so on the provari, which is what wormwood does. makes me wonder if he was using actual absinthe as flavoring, but that might be too expensive to do. i dunno. either way, it is exactly what im looking for. im using a 3.2 ohm single coil carto @ 4.9v.
