I cant speak to those rba's because I have never tried them, but have heard several positive things about the penelope. I currently am using a lavagen and it does not leak whatsoever. I have a Z-Atty Pro on the way for my Provari (potential for leaks due to the top cap design, but we shall see) and I have an iHybrid Hell Raiser on the way (same type of design). My only gripe with the lavagen is the difficulty of accessing the coil which the other gennys eliminate by using a top cap, but by using the top cap design, it may not always be pocket friendly...but then again, you cant lay RBA's on its side. Alternatively, ibtanked.com sells glass carto tanks at a VERY reasonable price.....if you like carto tanks.

Carto's in general dont work for me - I seem to prefer wick systems. Maybe its because i started with the little eGo-C tanks.

Took me ages to even enjoy dripping and it sounds so simple!

Alegria, you can get a metal tank for your vivi nova, which can handle the caustic juices. There are some really beautiful colored metal ones available. Also, there is a version of Pluid without the coloring. I think they may call it Cutter....I'd have to check on that, so don't hold me to the name.

From what I understand, Murdock hasn't made it for a while. I think it's also 0 nic when he makes it. Pluid was way too strong for me when I got it, but I'm not big on anise (then why did I get it?). I left the cap off for a week, the licorice taste mellowed, and orange zest became more prominent.

I disagree that it's a non-issue. I don't care if it's probably not harmful, adding ingredients that have no effect on the flavor or performance of the juice, just to sell more of it, is the issue. If people knew that Big Tobacco was adding additional ingredients (many of them also probably not harmful) when BT started doing it, they could have voted with their wallets not to buy those cigs. It wouldn't have led to a product that people can say now has over 4000 chemicals in it.

Big Tobacco adds superflous ingredients to the product to sell more product, why would we promote an eliquid that does the same? Why aren't we saying, "no, we don't want or need unnecessary ingredient." Sorry for the rant, but this issue really bothers me that so many consider it a "non issue".

I don't wish to derail the thread, and I apologize to the OP for getting off track. If you disagree with what I'm saying then yes, Pluid is a very popular anise flavor and loved by many. Many consider it their favorite juice. If you agree with my point, then there are other absinthe flavored juices that many consider better then Pluid without the addition of unnecessary ingredients, that have already been mentioned.

The reason he added color is because of what it looks like without it. It definitely helps with marketing, though.

i have ordered absynthe twice from ECBlend, once with extra flavor, the other with double extra flavor, each 50 ml. The taste is pretty good imo, throat hit is a bit lacking but price is incredible. I use the double extra flavor for my own DIY and the other for dripping on phoenixes now and then (i couldnt vape it all day, heck not even every single day, not because the liquiq is bad but the bevarage itself is not my real thing)

with a price of 2.5 bucks for 5 mls (and 50ml for $15) you are not wasting much just trying it. Color is pretty clear with just a tint of yellow

I've gone through 180 ml of Pluid. 90 ml In 9 days. Sick right? It's that good but my eyes glow green. What can I say, I live on the edge.
When I don't have Pluid I mix 25% Absinthe and 5% Sweetener. It's a strong juice but so is Pluid.
I'm going to try to back off of Pluid for a while. Not necessarily because of coloring but I can't afford buying enough to keep up with my insatiable appetite for it. I think everyone should at least try it because it's an amazing juice. I don't think a few ml will kill anyone.

I know I am very late to this game, but my cousin is a very knowledgeable DIYer and he makes his own Absinthe. Straight up anise/licorice. I can't stand it, but all tastes are relative. If you want, I can ask him for his exact recipe, where he gets his DIY stuff, etc. A co-worker of mine who only vapes licorice loved it.

My GF and I love absinthe. I've seen a few absinthe flavors out there. Have any of you tried any of them? How does they stack up?

I just recieved Absinthe Minded from Alice in Vapeland. . Amazing!!! But I absolutely LOVE the taste of anise/black licorice and this has plenty of it. I did drip it because it was right out of mail box.
Also I have Pg sensitivity so mine is mixed 90vg:10pg with no menthol and the anise flavor is still there and wonderful. If you aren't familiar with AiV the Absinthe Minded is behind the red door in the C room on their site just scroll till you see alice leaning down to a small red door and click.
I will be ordering Ahlusions version next week.

Those are the 2 I'm going to try, Blue Fairy from Ahlusion and Absinthe Minded from AiV. I too plan on asking for no menthol in the AiV one.

Will do :) i hear ya on the getting expensive thing i have ordered 15 bottles from Ahlusion in 3 days and still have 22 flavors in my wish list. Ugh it's great when you find great juice but man does it mess with the budget!
The AiV Absinthe Minded after 2 days open steeping has a wonderful anise flavor that lingers in your mouth. It's one of the juices that I keep hitting not because I need the nic but the flavor is soooo good, I might need to order my next batches of absinthe in 0 nic!

Got a 60ml of that one in my last delivery. Gotta say it is my favourite Absinthe juice ever.

They do know how to make fantastic juice there that is for sure. The TLC they put into everything is evident in every detail.

I have to try AiV juice next.

I have ECBlend absinthe in the standard mix, no extra flavor or anything, and at first it was too strong of a flavor for me, but it grew on me in about 2 days and now i end up vaping it most of the day. I've never had real absinthe so I can't say if this tastes like it at all, but it tastes like spicy anise and like the other member who posted about this very juice, it's pretty clear with a slight yellowish tint.

I rip it out of Smok DC cartos and enjoy it lots. I'm vaping it right now in all truth.
