Desert... you'll really have to get used to the Twist with the juices you personally like to vape! I LOVE my Twist but also use 3 other kgo batteries (1100 mah).

The Twist is great with the VN's (Vivi Nova's) and also ego clearos (but the ego clearos leak way too much - not worth losing my precious VV juice although the taste was amazing). I'm sure it's great with all types of clearos and tanks. It really depends on what flavor profile you prefer, but I've found its great with fruit, berry, chocolate, coffee and caramel flavors.

It's trial an error with the Twist... start low, take a few puffs, slowly go higher, take a few puffs till you find that "sweet spot" where it has the best and most intense great flavor for you!! How well charged your batteries are also makes a difference. Once I can no longer get the "great taste" or close to it at the same level and even if my battery is not dead I will put it on the charger. I learned it's not important to wait till it's dead.

There are a few flavors I won't use on the Twist (trial and error) and also I have found that I usually can't use cartos (Boge or SmokTech) on it because it burns them up too quickly even on the 3.2 setting or they just don't taste nearly as good as they do on the kgo 1100mah batteries. This also depends on the flavors you use regularly, some people use heavier more robust flavors and some use lighter.

The VN's are great on the Twist but still some flavors are better on the kgo type battery (ex. Amaretto in a VN - can't find any level where the flavor comes out and doesn't taste burnt or too light on the Twist - sad because extra flavor just doesn't taste quite right!)

they gunk up with the paper/mesh or without.

I use the 2.4 ohm heads and run them between 3.8-4.2

I'm going to fill up my minivivi with clear juice tonight and not let it get too low and we'll see how she runs.

The only dif I cd think of is the 3.8-4.2, not the paper cone on or off. Keep it 3.8 or even lower at 3.3 and see if that helps?

I appreciate Redhen posting about removing the tiny paper cone on the Nova head. I personally only use the Spinner or Twist on my main tobacco juice- just seems too harsh on all the others, imo.

I think we need to credit Gslate with the paper removal info... he was the first to talk about it on our forums and deserves thanks as well... although I'd thank anyone for that one cuz I was really hating those disgusting burnt papers ruining my sacred VV juice!!! Now how do we keep the "soot" on the metal from ruining our juices?? Now that my juice in my VN's is lasting longer, I wanna keep it going for more than my wkly cleanout and refill. Spoiled now that it lasts so long!

It's good to hear someone else say they can only use the twist for certain juices... not for lack of trying, but there's only so much you can do!

Exactly how do you remove the paper cone, just grab with tweezers and pull up?

Then I stand corrected, lol. Yes, Orbach- tho it does not always come off in one piece, it does come off.

I am new to the twist but after reading peoples numbers last night I played with mine last night with intent. KVM, Latte & Thrilla were good for me at about 3.2-3.4 when I cranked it up into those higher numbers it was too hot & harsh. I could go a touch warmer on my Caramel & Death but not much. I am using my Visions V3 clearo though (my fav) maybe I'll try a VN on it today.
