WOW!! I just received my first 510 kit, eight days from China. Planned ahead by getting the USB pass-through. Don't really care for the Marlboro flavor that came in the starter pack of carts. Tastes "flowery" to me, like I'm sucking on potpourri.

Dripped a little clove to start out with. I love Djarum clove cigarettes but they have been banned. They were a treat because they are expensive. The clove e-juice does not disappoint.

Next was RY4.... Put two drops in the cart and two on the atty. I love it!! So glad I found this forum and heard the good things about it. To me it tastes like cotton candy and nothing else. I came close to ordering MLB instead. Thanks for the heads up.

The throat hit is really strong for me. I find myself putting it down after one or two pulls. Not a lot of vapor but I understand this is to be expected from PG. It's cleaning my lungs out for sure.

UPS will be delivering my 10ml dropper bottles from US Plastics later today. Then I can start playing mad scientist on the flavors. Have to go and start modifying some carts. Laterz

I'm a big fan of the RY4. It is one of my favorites. I tried a USA mix and found it a bit too much like marlboros. I preferred camel silvers when I smoked and would like to find something similar. The closest I have found is mild 7.

I am new to this as well and have already been mixing my own e-liquids. It is a tremendous amount of fun and allows for some great personal flavors.

I purchase ready-made e-liquid as well and fell in love with RY4. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was amazed when I first tasted it.

I have found that a number of liquids have too light of a flavor for me. I'm hoping that my taste buds will continue to improve the longer I'm not smoking! But until then, I have no qualms at all about adding a drop or two of flavoring to augment a weak tasting liquid. I have one or two that I don't really like. But adding a drop of this or that can make them perfectly serviceable.

My recommendation for creating your own liquids is to work in small batches, add flavors a drop at a time testing after each addition, and take notes!

I have just made the realization that the clove fluid smells more like jasmine. I think a mistake was made.

Hmmm...the 510 is KNOWN for it's vapor - even with PG. Maybe try Nhaler liquid? I get CLOUDS of vapor with the High Voltage and it's PG!

I started with a black 306 with red LED (and shortly added a 510). And that's partly because I always loved the look and feel of Djarum Blacks, and they bring back such good memories (only had 'em on some weekends after fire performances -- a treat, like you said).
I got two clove juices, too! (I'm thinking the slight sweetness of VG might add that feeling you get with sugared Djarum papers -- just a little sweetness around the edge...)

I think I may have flooded the atty with the auto drip mod. I can hear a gurgling when I pull. Hardly any vapor.

Yeah, that sounds like it's flooded. You can take off the atty, blow through the hole from the battery thread end onto a paper towel to get the excess out or sometimes I'll just press the button about 2 seconds before I draw and then take a really slow, long draw. Do that a few times and it'll usually burn up the extra liquid in the atty. (Doesn't waste liquid that way!)

I just sent a message to the online supplier. The bottle is labeled clove but it is unmistakably jasmine. The big box they sent my order in was originally a clove eJuice box. That was what I was smelling, not the vapor. Yuck!! Tastes like potpourri.
