So, after a terrible relapse into the world of analogs, I have some juice on the way and went to dig out my provari. Problem is, I found it with some juice missing from the clearo, that dingy finish of dried e-juice on the outside, and it simply will not fire, nor can I bring up the menu. There may have been some juice that seeped into the battery compartment, but I am not sure how much if any at all. What I am wondering, though, is if anyone has an idea if this would be the batteries or maybe the mod itself? The batteries indicate a full charge on my charger but nothing has made my mod even look like it is getting power. Any help would be appreciated, all my other e-cigs were distributed amongst friend so I have some tasty house blend on the way without any way to vape it! >_<

Nah,a bath of iso alcohol as suggested (yes,a bath) with batt out (of course) and bottom cap off then shake vigorously, dry what you can with TP (shove some inside),leave to dry on itself for a few hours (shake a bit from time-to-time to dislodge any droplets that might be anywhere)...iso alcohol will evaporate maybe leaving a bit of deposits, but you could repeat the process a couple times.

IIRC,its what Provape recommends before sending it in.

I'll go ahead and try that. I'm pretty sure the batt was charged but unfortunately I don't even have another... Apparently it got lost. Either way I'll prolly order some more batteries at least and see if I can get it fixed if need be. In all honesty after sitting for months I doubt the battery would have a full charge, esp since I REMEMBER using it, so it may very well just be the batt.

Indeed, anyways if it would be juice that would make a short somewhere, the circuit protection would at least be triggered (flashing some E-? code)

Visually inspect it,smell it,it should reek of old juice if its that.

Otherwise, yes indeed a dead battery can show full charge on a charger...perhaps if you could try and leave it in the charger for a few hours (and keep a close eye on it and check if its not overheating),sometimes it takes a bit of time to resurrect batteries (good ones shouldnt drop below 3.2 or so)

Edit: good news, you posted before I could see it :)
