AC9 Genesis tip; Improved Flavor & TH

I just got the AC9 this morning and have been vaping on it all day. It vapes like a champ but it wasn't producing the flavor I was expecting. First thing I did was put a regular acrylic drip tip on it. The SS Cherry Ming drip tip included in the kit is beautiful but way too airy for this mod. This helped noticeably, but not enough. The 2nd thing I did was cover the air hole in cap halfway, maybe a tad more than half, with electrical tape. I can only see the very top of the airhole now. This was the key! Now the flavor is spot on and plentiful, wow!! The perfect vape.

vaping Boba's Bounty with 30awg Kanthal A1 wrapped to 1.3ohms on my Provari @ 3.5v. NO DRY HITS, Not 1!! wicks perfectly. Switch the drip tip out, and try the tape thing, you will see how much more flavor and TH you will get.

Pic added. This works better than covering completely and putting a pinhole in the tape.

Nice review gord,

I use a small rubber band to adjust airflow. Easy to move around and not too atrusive looking.

I use 28awg w/ 4 wraps/ Makes the different in night and day in vapor between 30awg and 28.

You cant use a .8 or 1.0 ohm atty on the ProVari, but if you have a a regular non regulated mod, you can and it is awesome..
