I have been comparing my AC9 to my BliSS all day. Both with same resistance and same voltage.

They both look and feel awesome and I would say the build quality of both is about the same....very very good. Bliss might win here in some respects but only if you are being EXTREMELY picky and it's a lil "apples/oranges" they done each have unique designs.

Vapor and hit: I can make the same vapor on both atomizers but it just comes soooooo easy on the AC9. the draw is far more airy compared to the BliSS (even with it's 2 air holes). But it's not airy in a bad way tho. The vaopr from the AC9 comes quick and lots of it!!
A 3 second draw on the AC9 is as much or more as 5 or 6 second "double pump" hit from the BliSS. The bliss has the good ole big TH like a genesis style should. The AC9 has a great TH but also a big time lung filling uber hit that is mind blowing and remarkably smooth.

Bliss tank is glass with a steel shield, very cool......of course its awesome. The AC9 tank is plastic(PMMA) but don't let that throw you off, it looks awesome and very high class. There are some concerns with how "plastic-killing" juices will react to this tank that will only be realized in time. I ran a really strong/harsh cherry juice in it all last night and most of today and even left it overnight with it on it's side and so for the tank is holding up well. The design of the tank eliminates the pressure of a traditional plastic tank being squeezed over some o-rings. Also this tank is really thick, I really don't see a juice being able to degrade or "eat away" at this tank to make it crack but again, time will tell on that one.

leaking out the fill holes is about the same (BliSS has 2 open fill holes if using 1 wick)

Coil is easy to wrap on both but mounting a coil on the AC9 is a PITA, IMO. It might not be to hard for some but the Bliss is just so easy.

center post kinda started to loosen up on me once but it wasn't really a big deal. I blame this on the AC9 top coil mounting procedure, when tightening the mounting nut it is easy to accidentally grab or disturb the post mounting nut. The center post on a BliSS isn't moving.......not unless you smack it with something(that's how you adjust it ;))

It's a lil bigger than the Bliss and maybe heavy, really hard to tell I call it....about the same.

Overall, very worth the price, $125 (base kit) and you will be blown away with the vapor, hit and flavor!!!

Dirquist, thanks for the info. Sounds to me like the ac9 is a solid mod performance wise to this point. I personally do not like to "have" to tip my atty to avoid dry hits. My DFW Ratank is set up genesis style, and it has a huge wick which performs very well at all angles, that is my favorite thing about it.

Dangit, forgot to add that. I can wick at any angle on both my BliSS and my AC9 as I am not force to do a "genesis tilt" at all. A lot of that has to do with getting the wick and "air return" just right that isn't necessarily an atomizer specific issue, I don't have to tilt on my DuD either.

In fact on the AC9 (and my Bliss sometime), it will wick so well that most of the time I am vaping with the air hole/wick up, very opposite of the tilt.

Sweet jeez, this thread is making me go for the buy now button. Spraintz, did you use the premade wick? what type of coil? I know they were selling the deluxe with 30 & 28 a-1 Kanthal, anyone using that set-up?

I got the base kit just to save some bones, got plenty of wick and wire. I'm using 400 mesh and 34g nichrome 80 with a 3/4 wrap, gets about 2.2ish ohms, vape at about 4.5-5v

I had to get the base kit too. I'm surprised there were any left on Friday when I got paid. By the time I added the wicks and wire it wasn't much more than the kit anyway. I got it in today and after about 15 minutes had it up and running. The only problem that I had was getting the tank assembly apart, it was put together really tight. I am using 32g Kanthal with a 5/4 wrap and getting 1.7 ohms. This is my first rebuildable( well I got the dud last week and messed with it a little) and I am loving it so far. The build quality is amazing and it hits like crazy with tons of vapor and great juice flavor. I added a little piece of scotch tape over the bottom half of the air hole just to increase the draw a little until I get used to it. I do not regret spending the money on it at all

First rebuildable here. Wrapped 30g 5/4 at 1.5 ohms, vaping at 3.9v. This was my very first wrap. No glowing red like you see in some videos but always had it wet. A machine:vapor: Did have the center post come loose as well. Wonder if it is from taking the AC9 off and on a lot last night? Will try tightening the nut with a wrench, tighter.

Do any of you take your genesis with you in the car, to work, etc. or does it stay in one location? Without leaking?

Haha, you got that right!! It's a juice burnin monster:)

I take mine everywhere....car, work, store.....gotta be aware of that air hole tho, it will drip juice outta there pretty easy if you let it. Keep the air hole up as much as you can and it's not so bad. That's kinda "genesis style" best practice as a whole tho IMO.

I broke down and ordered it. Got the shipping notification but no, it's not here yet. I was also hoping for a sub-$100 price and wasn't gonna get it at first.

There are some things about the coil mounting that I do not like that I can see just from the pics and videos. I will be making some changes to it right from the start to suit my needs but then I think it will be an awesome addition my "atomizer army" (it just keeps growng ;))

I'll post pics of mine when I get it and redo it.
Can you tell and show us what changes you made to the coil setup on the AC9? Thanks bro.

I had an ac9 and traded it away for a used ody. wasn't impressed, very airy draw! even for a genesis and the center post is hard to deal with. Pain in the ... at first. other than that it was good. not worth $140 for the kit, imho, there are too many cheaper alternatives that vape equally as well, if not better. Personally I prefer the PMMA tank over SS, but it doesn't seems to make much difference flavor-wise. It is made in the usa, and that goes a long way for me.
